My previous visit to this this location it took nearly an hour to go through the drive thru. I ordered 6 items (3 chicken tacos and 3 tostada as)and was over charged for 3 and was missing 1 item. I called and spoke to the manager and she said that they would remake my order on my next visit for the inconveniences. I've tried to return a couple of times but the open hours are different because of staffing issues I'm assuming and during my LAST visit I may have discovered why. I came to the location and explained to to the manager my last visit. She rang the stuff up. I said that I would like to buy some more food and I bought another $15 worth of food. When I received my food 2 of the tostadas were missing. She DID NOT say that she wasn't going to honor what the previous manager had said until now. As I was trying to ask why this was and explain not waiting for me to finish she started talking saying to me that I was lucky that she gave me anything at all without a receipt (other manager said I didn't need the receipt it would be under my phone#). My vocal tone went up as an attempt to finish the sentence I was speaking when she attempted to cut me off mid sentence. She then said that I didn't have to get loud. I said that I just wanted to finish my sentence and she wouldn't wait for that to tell me what SHE was going to do. Then she said loudly"You can leave. You can leave. You can leave." I had accounted for the missing food to feed people so I got back in line to buy the 2 tostadas she refused to replace. A guy who had walked in and saw this said that I could go while he decided. The manager wouldn't address me until that guy asked her to. I ordered the tostadas and the random guy from OHIO insisted on paying for them because he saw what happened. The food was made so poorly we ended up tossing most of it and scrounging around.Of the 5 tostadas I got through the 3 orders only 1 was kind of normal See the pictures. This location has unfortunately nosedived which is a shame.I like Del Taco a lot but I WILL NEVER RETURN TO...
Read moreYesterday my partner and I went to get Del Taco for us and his family. We went inside and ordered the food, as we had a larger order, and didn’t want to back the drive thru up. First, they don’t have the taco packs on the kiosk, so if you wanted to order them, you need to do so on the app. If not, you’re paying well over double for the same amount of HORRIBLE tacos. Besides that, we ordered and sat down to wait. The girl who was working the bagging station handed another guy his pop cup, then handed us ours, glaring us down the whole time, even when I said thank you. She put my small strawberry sprite on the counter, I said “oh i’m so sorry, it was a large” and she just gave me a dirty look, checked the screen to see if i’m being fr, snatched the cup back, took it behind the corner to the pop machine for over 2 minutes, came back w the drink, slammed it down without saying anything, and it wasn’t even full. We went back to waiting for our food (PATIENTLY bc we know it’s a little more than a usual order.) She handed us the food w an attitude AGAIN and didn’t say anything. We said thank you, grabbed the bags, and left. This was the absolute worst food we have ever had from del taco. i got 3 fish tacos, and they were thrown together so horribly, they were soggy, the tortilla fell apart into multiple pieces trying to pick it up, etc. The real kicker is we ordered the “pack” of chicken tacos and 85% of the tacos had a horrible, disgusting groundish chicken that tasted like cat food, the other 15% had real grilled chicken. They also forgot a pack of churros. Also, the guy employee who kept working kept going to eat chips while making food. Worst del taco...
Read moreI hate to give 1 star reviews, but this one is well deserved. I arrived to the drive thru at 1:34 a.m., with only 1 car ahead of me to order, and two cars that had already ordered. After a half hour of not moving, I wanted to pull away, I hadn't even ordered. However, the drive thru is designed, so that you can't. Now that it was after 2 a.m., the line moved by 1 car. I ordered 3 items with no special requests. It was over a half hour before I made it to the window to receive my food. I pulled away at 2:48, that's right an hour and 14 minutes for "fast" food. Once I began to eat, things got worse. My spicy chicken burrito had either uncooked or very old rice. The rice was so hard it almost chipped my tooth. It was inedible. Move on to my asada cheddar quesadilla. The quesadilla had such little cheese or steak, that one entire section was nothing but tortilla, no exaggeration. It was as if they didn't have cheese bags opened and on the line and didn't have enough steak prepped. If they had just told me as I ordered, I understandably would've ordered different items. If it wasn't a 24 hr operation it would make sense that they were low on certain things given the time of my visit, but it is a 24/7 drive-thru. I had hours of extreme stomach/ intestinal pain after what I was able to eat. I know how understaffed so many places are, however, they would've been better off being closed due to call offs etc, than operating like they did. This was such a terrible experience, that the$12.50 I wasted, will be the last money Del Taco ever gets from me. Not just this location, but the entire franchise. Del Taco, you just lost a longtime...
