1st we asked for tater tots which she said they had and I asked if we could do chili and cheese on the tots and she said we can’t do that. We only have chili cheese fries …. ??? So we can add chili and cheese to fries but the tots?? Ok whatever…
Got to the window and they didn’t have limes to make a cherry limeade so they gave us cherry sprite. Cool no problem.
Got halfway home and realized they did not do our order correctly. We asked for jalapeños on our burger. Cherry Sprite was watered down and the diet Dr Pepper was regular Dr Pepper.(I’m diabetic)
Went BACK thru the driveway and informed her the order was incorrect. Now we have had our hands on the burger checking that it was correct. She tells us in order for her to make another burger she has to have the other back. That alone is the most UNSANITARY thing ever. She took that burger back just to throw it away. Whhhy?? Another reason I have so much respect for how Chik Fil A operates.
How you make that right is to tell the customer first, you’re sorry for your error. Ma’am/Sir go ahead and keep that burger and let me get you the correct one.
She went and had another burger made and in the background tells them AND MAKE SURE YOU ADD JALEPENOS.
We get the burger back again and NOW IT DOES’NT HAVE CHEESE!!!!!!!!
My husband kept the Dr Pepper and I gave the watered down cherry sprite and asked for unsweet tea.. got down the road and it’s SWEET TEA.
9,432 JALEPENOS later.
Disgusted with this experience all around. I NEVER take the time to leave a review but this one had to be told.
Just throw the whole...
Read moreNice little scam you got going on here, DQ.
Went through the drive through for my wife today. Simple order. Grilled chicken salad, small Heath bar blizzard, large fries. That came to $17.82. A little much, I thought, but if it's what they charge, then it's what they charge.
After getting our food I took some time to look at the receipt, and as it turns out, they charged me $10.98 for the salad, when it's on their menu for $5.99.
So I went back in and talked with the manager about it, and she said there is an issue with how their system handles the salad. For whatever reason, it automatically charges for two salads instead of just one. She refunded my card for the price of the one salad, and even offered me a free blizzard for my trouble, which was nice. At least, it seems nice.
I almost didn't go in to discuss with them about being charged double for the salad. Something that would have costed me $5.99. I can't help but wonder, how many people would be too awkward, timid, or shy to go inside and tell them they were charged too much.
If this particular DQ location sold just one salad a day at this rip-off price, they would net an extra $2186.35 a year. That's more than what some people in Allen pay for property tax in a year.
What really stood out to me here was that the manager willingly admitted she knew this was going on. She didn't even hint that they might be trying to find a...
Read moreThis DQ posted an ad and promised that if anyone came in and mentioned their ad today on FB, they would get a free cone. There was NO mention of any limitations to how many people in a group could mention the ad for a free cone, nor was it mentioned that a purchase was necessary at all. That has since been updated to purchase necessary. Fact is though, there was NO fine print restrictions prior, and they should have honored what they advertised. Instead they said we could still get one free cone for our group of 6. It was hugely disappointing and embarrassing in front of my children, who were very excited to get free ice cream. They should honor their commitments as a matter of decency and good faith to their customers. Now they are just liars. We will NOT be returning to the DQ, which was a family favorite of ours, ever again due to their lack of honoring their printed promise to their customers and the embarrassment they subjected us too...
