I recently visited Home Goods and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. As someone who enjoys shopping at this store, I was really disappointed by the long wait times at checkout. It seemed like there were not enough lines open, and the lines that were open were painfully slow.
To make matters worse, I noticed one female employee standing at the end of the line, seemingly doing nothing. I couldn’t help but wonder why she wasn’t helping out at a register or at least directing customers to the open lines. Instead, she just stood there with a goofy smile on her face, which only added to the confusion and frustration of waiting customers.
After waiting for what felt like forever, I ultimately decided to leave my full cart behind. It’s a shame because I had found some great items, but the long wait just wasn't worth it. A little more staffing and better management of the checkout process could really improve the shopping experience here. I hope they take this feedback into consideration because I’d love to return, but not if I have to endure such long...
Read moreI love HomeGoods, but time after time this one disappoints. It’s overcrowded with inventory, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing for consumers looking for variety, but there has to be a balance. Aisles are narrow as it is, and because the walkways outside of aisles are so crammed with stuff, there’s no reprieve. People are inevitably running into one another, not having time to stop and look at the selection because it’s overflowing main walkways. I have never had this experience at another HomeGoods, so it has to be an issue with the store itself - either items not being sold fast enough or inventory coming in faster than the store can handle.
Also, there have been multiple times teams unloading from the back (near the lamps) nearly run me over. I understand there’s a job to do, but if it’s during store hours, wait for customers to pass.
It’s a wonderful shopping center. But this HomeGoods has so many opportunities...
Read moreLARGE store. Clothing on one side and home goods on the other. Clothing is aisles stuff on hangers, sorted by type and sizes. Reminds me of thrift store!!! Nice selections but i guess the volume dictates this manner of 'shelving'; no wasted space by displays... Home goods has everything from bed mattress to salt shakers!! Fun time can be had if you like to browse shop. WARNING: my pet peeve about this place is the checkout. It may be just me, but when there are 10-12 checkouts and only 2 are operating at peak hours and/or holiday season with a line that takes 45 MINUTES to get through.... Rediculous!!! Went yesterday. 4 checkouts were open, not a large crowd but still a 12 minute line!!! Really?!? Advice: go with someone. Check line upon entry. If line is long, you might want one to sand in line and...
