This place is a #denofthieves. So, we went for a few drinks to relax after a long day around 9:45pm. Everything went great, the bartender Xiomara, really seemed genuine to having a lovely conversation and laid the charm on thick. By the time we left, we’re happy to have met some really nice people. OR SO WE THOUGHT. My boyfriend discovered his phone was missing ($2,000 phone for work). After realizing it was gone (checked everywhere and contacted the bar). SO when we contacted the bar, I asked for Xiomara because she was our bartender. Someone answered and said it was her and then talked in 3rd person (obviously NOT her). FRAUDULENTLY REPRESENTING ANOTHER PERSON. We called the cops and filed a report because we don’t have $2000 laying around for a new phone. The person on the phone said NO PHONE WAS TURNED IN. And the rage I had because I knew this was a lie, I made John drive me back to the bar. XIOMARA AND A LOVELY DARK SKINNED “GENTLEMAN” hand shook me and joked immediately about us “losing the phone”. Then said “oh no that’s my Phone” at which time I got very upset. Idk who was in cahoots with each other to make this happen, but they blatantly said “ohhhh the phones in the office” as if I didn’t call 10 minutes prior to ask if it was there. Xiomara was also on the other side of bar at that point having drinks . I really can’t say who did what, but I can guarantee you that you will not be safe here, nor your personal possessions. Skip this s*#% and take your money somewhere else. These fools are exactly that: FOOLS. Trust me, if you lose something or have something stolen here from you - file a police report and go back. Went for lunch with a party of seven at 12:30 on a Tuesday. There was nobody in the restaurant. There was no one there to greet us. Someone finally yelled from the back to sit wherever we wanted. We found a booth and waited five minutes until someone came over to take her drink order. We waited another seven minutes and still no drinks. 5 waters and two sodas. We were ready to order appetizers and entrées but we couldn’t, because no one ever came back with drinks. I don’t usually do restaurant reviews, but this was atrocious. The first thing when we walked in, we noticed a strong smell of chlorine or bleach. Yet, all the tables that we went to sit at were sticky and dirty, the floor was dirty the music was so loud we couldn’t even hear the lady tell us we could sit wherever we wanted. It took three different times from three different people in our party, responding back to hear and or understand her because she wouldn’t come out. There were two or three staff behind the bar and one waitress that I could see. We were waiting on one person in our party to get there, but had already ordered their soda and our drinks never arrived after we waited for 20 minutes (7min after the last person of our party arrived) at the restaurant we got up and left. I felt terrible, but we had only an hour and a half for lunch and as long as it took to get our drinks, we didn’t feel comfortable staying and chancing the timing. I normally love Woodys sports bar and come here often with friends. But the other day I went with my mom and we ordered the exact same drink, her drink was completely different than the one I received. It tasted and looked different. When I told the bartender I did not like the drink she said that because I ordered it I still had to pay for it regardless even if she would dump it and make me a new drink. (That never happened to be before) She was very rude and condescending, we even sat for several minutes before she came to us even though there was only 3 other people in the bar, when she finally came to take our order she was rushing us because she told us she was just about to leave, (mind you she was there for an additional 30mins before finally leaving) my mom wanted to order food and she said okay what do you want. No respect whatsoever, no smile, no, would you like a menu? Just what do you want? I have not wanted to go back since. After her shift someone new came on(very respectful) and I told her what had happened, found out that the reason it looked and tasted different was because they were all out of the sweet and sour and the waitress before made the drink without it. But didnt tell me that she didnt have the correct ingredients. So I was charged for a drink that wasn't even properly made. I most likely will not be coming back and will be telling my friends not to come here unless they want to receive...
