Our waitress was very nice but the organization and a good first impression was severely lacking. When walking into the restaurant myself and my friend were not greeted in anyway. I was unsure if I needed to wait or approach the desk as we had never been in the restaurant before. When I went to the desk the young lady standing there with her head resting on her hand looked up at me annoyed when I let her know we were a party of two. The young lady who took us to our table was very pleasant and kind. We waited nearly 5-10 minutes for our drinknorser to be taken, we were there before a Steelhawls game so we expected it to be busy and for some things to be delayed. Once the drinks were taken care of and we placed our order, a while later my friends grilled chicken sandwich was seemingly tossed onto our table without a word to us and the person who delivered our food was gone. The couple that came in after us got a chicken sandwich delivered around that same time. I had ordered a cheeseburger and we waited for it to be brought put, expecting it shortly after the chicken but we ended up waiting nearly 20 minutes for my burger, my friend had refused to eat before I got my food (she thought it to be rude). When we asked for silverware we were brought out cheap plastic cutlery. And by the time my burger came out the bottom of her bun was so soggy and the chicken so cold and so hard to cut my friend completely lost her appetite. This upset me, I couldn't understand why our order was spaced so far apart, and when I asked out waitress we were told with the business some foods were prioritized based on the quickness it could be cooked. When we explained the burger came out last and extremely late our waitress looked confused. My friend returned the sandwich and we were not charged for it. At no point did a manager come over or offer any other kind of explanation to this disorganized and noncommunicative staff. They are attached to the PPL center so myself and my friend as patrons were expecting a crowd, why wasn't the establishment and the staff prepared as well? It's a shame, my friend was so excited to bring me there and finally try their food since we love their fries during a game, but you couldn't pay me to go back there for a second chance, even on a night when there...
Read moreMy family, friends and I decided to go to Chickie's & Pete's before a hockey game. We will never go there again. It started as soon as we told the girls at the desk we had 7. The girls acted like we asked for the best table they had. It took about 20 minutes to get seated. The waitress did not give us enough menues. She took our drink order, it took about 10 minutes to get our drinks. Eventually we were given more menues We all looked at the menues and it was not the same as on the website. It was not a big menu, so we figured the food would be good. Well we should of never assumed because the food sucked big time. We ordered 2 cold shrimp and 1 hot shrimp dish. The cold shrimp had a clorine taste and the hot shrimp had no taste. My granddaughter ordered the crab legs they were not hot, no melted butter came with them and she was not given utensils. My son ordered a burger which had no onions on and had no taste. A friend ordered the cheese steak sandwhich. It had no oinion or sauce on and she said it had no flavor. The rest of us ordered 2 pizzas , 1 was a white pie and 1 was the peperoni pie. The white pie was like eating a piece or cardboard. To my understanding a white pizza should have garlic, basile, oregano and other spieces to make an enjoyable expierance. The pepperoni pizza did not have enough sauce on and tasted bland. I would suggest you train your wait staff, cooks and buss people how to run a resturant. Upon watching the wait staff run around like chickens with thier heads cut off. Each waitress had too many tables to handle. The girls at the front desk looked at us a deer in headlights look. The kitchen staff bringing out tge foodhad no idea what tablethe food went to. We had to stop our waitress and tell her the steak sandwhich did not come out yet. It took anither 5 minutes for the person to get her order. Also the prices seemed a bit higher then it should of been. Especially since the food was not the best or even good. I will rate our experice at -3, from a...
Read moreWe used to love coming to chickie and petes until recently. I went for dinner around 7/8ish. We were seated and waited 10 minutes for our waitress (which normally isn't a problem) I know sometimes servers are busy. When she finally came we ordered two drinks and ordered a basket of fries and a small buffalo boneless wing. Our drinks came out. While waiting other tables were sat including a family of 6, a couple with a child, and a couple. The family of 6 went through at least 2 baskets of fries and refills while we sat waiting. Then the couple with the child received there food and finally the last couple who came in atleast 25 minutes after us received there food which was wings and fries and we sat for 45 minutes still no food. No one even came to tell us what happened with our food. Finally I told my boyfriend to get the waitress because at this point I didn't even want our food. We told our waitress. And she printed our slip out told us she wanted us to know she did put our food in but she doesn't know where it is and that she had to get her manager to comp our order. As she was doing that more peope where getting food people who were sat for less then 15 minutes even. We watched her at the computer with the manager and she came back and charged us for our two drinks. We never saw the manager and never got an apology from the manager or an explanation on why we were the only ones that never received our food. If this restaurant was a better establishment they would have taken off our drinks or the manager would have atleast apologized to us. I have spent and my family has spent a lot of money at different chickie and petes restaurants but after last night I will warn everyone I know about the poor customer service and management skills...
