I was hungry late night and googled places near me to eat and amigos was one of the options. This was my first time eating here and they did not dissapoint. It does not compare to chipotle at all. The food taste more authentic. I can taste the fresh cilantro and cut unions mingling together with their home made chipotle sauce. You have to try the chips and guac. They were not salty like the ones at chipotle and all my chips were evenly cooked. They even have fried yellow plantains. Something that i over heard an employee telling another customer is that they dont freeze the meat. its all fresh daily and that is a big diffrence in taste. I was surprised that the owner was there and introduced himself. He is a genuine guy and said if i have any feedback on how to make it better to let him know. I feel a franchise will be something this new taste and style will benefit from in the near future. I will definately be eating here more often. The hidden gem...
