We were very disappointed tonight with our experience. We had been here a couple of years ago as a family and loved it so we didn't think twice about suggesting we go as a group of 13 with my daughter's college room mates and their parents. We had a reservation for 13 at 6pm and when we arrived we were seated promptly. That was the best thing that happened tonight! We waited about 20 minutes before we finally were able to put in food and drinks orders, the drinks took a good 15 to 20 minutes to arrive. The server didn't remove any empties over the entire time we were there and when she brought something to the table, it seemed she could only handle a single task at one time. No checking if we needed anything else, if everything was ok etc. They obviously missed out on a number of drinks sales, because we never saw our server to order more! Finally after waiting for our food for a full hour after ordering, we hailed our server down to see what was going on and that was when she told us that they were out of fish and chips (a signature dish!!!!????!?) and that they were holding all the food until the person who ordered the fish and chips could select something else. We were still waiting for appetizers and soups and they hadn't appeared yet. Lo and behold, one of the first things to appear was the replacement order for the fish and chips!! WTH? My soup came about 5 minutes after the salad I ordered and once the food started coming it took about 15 minutes for it all to arrive. That is, all but one of the appetizers, which we finally got when we asked for the check. The food itself was hit or miss. I enjoyed my soup and salad (but had to ask for a dressing after it had been delivered undressed) but those getting the fried chicken dish were disappointed with the small portion, strange combination of sides and general presentation. One of our party with allergies had asked for the sweet potatoes to be done without mushrooms yet they still came with mushrooms mixed in and had to wait for another 5 or 10 minutes until her plate was re-prepared without the mushrooms. We finally go out of there just after 8pm.....not soon enough unfortunately.

Read moreWe visited last night after a phantoms game. When we walked it the space was fairly empty which was good as we were all pretty hungry and figured we’d get to eat quickly. We sat and didn’t see a server for over 20min, who then tried to take care of the table who just sat ‘as they were seated before us’. It just went down from there. The Moscow mule I ordered was only lime juice, it became a joke at the table it was so bad but we never saw the server to complain until the food came out and at that point we just wanted to eat. The food took forever. The server told us she’d have to look for silverware when my bf asked if I could have a fork, I order Mac and cheese, one was found. We were then informed they were out of napkins, which the other 3 at the table had ordered burgers so they were necessary. I managed to find 3 napkins under the bowls so how out you were, I’m not sure. These issues were blamed on the banquet upstairs but if you can’t give all guests a good experience don’t have the dining room open with a banquet. All of the food was cold: the soup to dip the pretzels, the Mac and cheese, the burgers. We never saw the server again to even say something and at this point it had been an hour since we sat so we ate. The food tasted good but apparently warm food is too much to ask for. We had also asked for the Sixers game to be turned on (the Lakers game was on?), the host told us to tell the server, the server ignored us, the bartender was great and did it. Read moreI honestly will never recommend this venue to anyone. Due to COVID-19, in order to keep our family safe, we cancelled our originally planned wedding and instead planned a baby shower. We planned the baby shower because the planner took a deposit from my mother in law without requiring the password and were forced to use the balance because we were told we couldn’t receive a refund. We were then told that we would receive a refund for the remaining balance by the planner; Jared; after the baby shower when we inquired about doing a baby shower and a 1 year anniversary party to use the remaining balance. It 100% is not worth anyone having an event there. We deeply feel as though we were discriminated against for downsizing our event. The food was no where near the quality it was when we went to the tasting. The servers were quiet and clearly not happy to be there. The planner didn’t even check on us to see how things were going. As for that refund; I sent 5 emails inquiring about it; no response. My mother in law also sent an email and they neglected to respond to her and sent her a check. The remaining balance on our quote was $5317.30 that we should have received back. The check my mother in law received was $5000.00. I’m not sure what they decided that extra $317.30 was used for. Again, terrible customer service and absolutely no way I will ever be doing business...
