A1 Japan Steakhouse — Restaurant in Alliance

The restaurant is very fancy but the service was good they had the food come fast but the food wasn't what me and my dad expected to be. We order the hibije steak and we thought there was going to be a baked potato and a big steak but we were wrong the steak was actually the smallest thing in the plate. They gave us to much rice and noodles and then the one guy kept bringing a sauce call yum yum sauce and that was to sweet. There was vegetables buy I thought it be a lot of carrots but there was only 2. Oh and there was only 2 shrimp. The steak was so small and kinda hard to chew there wasn't that much favor in the steak. We got medium rare and it wasn't cooked fully and there no way you can eat all the food because they gave way to much food on the plate. Only a few people can eat it all. The charge was 52.60$ very expensive for that food. The place will not make it that long if they waste that much food and not good...

Came for dinner last night with two of my kids. I was thoroughly impressed by the amount of work they put into the place and the complete transformation. (I remember the restaurant prior). It was very clean, our server Laken, was super knowledgeable about the menu and did a great job giving us attention and genuinely making sure we had everything and was happy even though they were busy. We had a basic veggie roll that was delicious and inexpensively priced. My kids got boba teas that were flavorful and huge. My dinner was plated well and was incredible! We tried A1 Japan steakhouse tonight for dinner. We were seated quickly and served drinks. After this the service fell off and didn’t get refills on drinks for 10 minuets/ when we flagged down the waiter. Food was brought out and we found a hair in the yum yum sauce. The yaki lomein had no flavor other than the strong uncooked onions. One of the people at my table had a shellfish allergy and he ordered the steak and chicken habachi knowing he would be safe and when his food was delivered it had 2 shrimp in it. The lights in the restaurant were so bright it was hard to look across the table to talk to the people you’re eating with.
