Never received a call back from a store manager today. I called May 27th to schedule my dogs to be groomed. Their soonest appointment was July 3rd, ok no big deal, I expected this due to the closures. Now Carly calls me today June 26th to inform me she is quitting the store and now there is no one to groom my 2 dogs. She then explains to me that the next appointment is another MONTH out, the 1st week of August. In the meantime, my dogs are overheating due to the heat, within minutes of being outside. Her suggestion was for me to drive my dogs all the way to Canton or find another groomer. She wasn’t very sympathetic on the phone at all. I called back and spoke with a “manager” Tyler who took down my information and said he would get ahold of someone to see if they could make room for us. That was at 9:30 this morning, it’s now 5:30 pm. This is uncalled for and unacceptable. If you like waiting months on end to get an appointment... this is the store for you. Otherwise, find a groomer that’s not a chain!
Update: It’s now 6:15pm and Rachel, store manager says she has a groomer who can stay over on July 4th to groom my dogs. As much as I appreciate that, it’s a holiday and we have plans with family. I also decided not to wait around until the end of the business day and called another grooming salon earlier, who can see my pups July 9. I did tell Rachel that I appreciated her effort but I will be taking my business elsewhere. We pay almost $150 for 2 dogs to get the full “treatment” and I’m pretty certain the last time we picked them up, the littlest dogs nails were NOT trimmed. See ya...
Read moreJust left the store. Cat at the register was very nice and polite. Too the curly hair chubby dude though. How rude of you to talk too my son like you have a say in his life. He literally walked up to you as you were speaking to another worker and said "excuse me.Can I pet a ferret?" I get it. He didn't say please, but he was polite to you. You do not need to gripe at him and tell him that he needs to learn his manner and proceed to tell him again. "Seriously You need to work on your manners you can't just grab a balloon". And proceed to take the balloon from him and put it back. Seriously? He wasn't hurting anybody. He was only getting on your nerves for being a child. No other customers were around us. He was just standing there playing with a balloon as I got lizard food. I just had surgery a few days ago. If all my son was doing is playing with a balloon. Than so be it. I get it if there was people around, but no one else was. That is one less hassle I have to deal with. Do not try to tell my child that he is a bad kid and that he isn't respectful. He is a very good child. That's like saying he can't grab something to look at unless he ask you for permission. No! If you seriously had that big of a problem with him. You should of said something to me. There'splenty of children that acts a fool in stores, but he did not. Rule for you! Don't tell my child what to do. Hee wasn't rude. He was calm and collective in the store. He was excited to see the ferrets. You need to seriously go work in a cubical. If you can't ...
Read moreThey Still Sell Ball Pythons, but quit selling feeder mice. They don't know how to properly care for their snakes. I've tried to help them, but they don't listen, and apparently don't care. I believe the high employee turnover is partly to blame.
Their reptile setups are poor, and result in stressed, malnourished specimens. There's a reason I ordered my snakes from a breeder. I was warned.
My cinammon ball (like many others) will not eat FT. I didn't care that PSP doubled the price of feeder mice a few months ago. Their mice were well fed, which isn't always the case at other local shops.
The last time I stopped by I picked up a new hide, a few bags of substrate, and things for my cats and dog (which I'm always picking up). I spent well over $100. Those purchases were made out of convenience. I can just as easily pick up these items elsewhere, and since I now have no need to stop, this revenue stream has just dried up.
They have a bp that refuses to eat FT (possibly due to the atrocious setup) and is currently "suffering." Their hypocrisy absurd.
Btw.. I can still buy feeder fish and insects here because... well... why not? But not mice.
I hope they rethink their policy..... before they lose more of their...
