The place has a good atmosphere and pools spread all over. Monday was kind of a dead night, but there were people enough that it didn't feel awkward to be there. The smoking hot waitress (from the other review) was probably in her night off.
In her place, a bartender who basically barked at everyone all evening. When we asked him about WiFi (which is important, because there is no internet signal at the bar), he got mad! Instead of giving us the activation code, he literally barked at us, and seemed to have said something like "It's only free for one hour". I was scared and chose to not ask for the passcode a fourth time (after he gave us the same one-hour answer three times).
It was my friends' 21st birthday, and he asked the bartender what he would recommend to him. The bartender looked at him, and remained silent, as if that was not a question... You may think that he didn't hear the question, but the music was pleasantly low, and place wasn't noisy at all! Then I asked my friend "Have you tried a Washington Apple?", and he was like "What, what is that?" and we both looked at the bartender waiting for short explanation. Bartender's response: "Drink or shot?". And he was not trying to make fun.
Tip: $0.00 Suggestion: bring that waitress back and never let her take...
Read moreUpdate:After returning a few more times, it is clear that Rey's has no cut-off point for their patrons. I'm one to enjoy a good time, and I have been cut-off myself at other bars in the past. That is always a good thing. You want a bar that cares to keep people safe. Reys is fun and all, but getting drinks spilled on you and people falling down all over the bar is not a fun place. Reys is more of a before 9pm bar unless you're trying to drown your sorrows
Previous rating: Great little bar! They have great food and fantastic service. I don't come here a ton, but this is my Alliance local bar for a drink...
Read moreTried for the third time to go to this place and in perfect consistency with the previous times, once again had an issue. Asked to pay with card and close the bill and was told "then this is your last one because I'm not doing that with the card every time". This isn't the 70s, it doesn't take 20 minutes to tap a card, and this bar was hardly even at 50% capacity. Not a problem, it will be my last one for good. Poor experience, unnecessary aggression from the staff and frankly boring at best anyway....
