McDonald's — Restaurant in Alpena Township

Went through drive through and placed a decent size order, when leaving I asked the gentleman if I was all good. He paused for a moment and said yes. We didn’t check, (my bad) I guess we should have because a 20 piece chicken nugget was missing. Had the sauce for it though. When calling, the manager on the phone was rude and not understanding. When I came back to receive the nuggets she didn’t apologize for the inconvenience and made it very clear I couldn’t have more sauce since “I already got some.” When honestly I should get more since you forgot the nuggets in the first place? got food poisoning from McDoubles last night, I tried calling them to let them know hey check your meat it smelled sour and the person wants to argue with me and say she doesn't know how it smells like rotten meat when it's frozen patties and I said I don't know I've been a cook over 8 years I know what rotten meat smells like and I know what food poisoning feels like. Everytime I go to this McDonald's, they always seem to mess something up, whether its a burnt burger, a bun covered in extra flour, missing items, etc. Of the 3 McDonalds, this one is ONLY getting placed in 2nd becauseof how abysmalthe one on M-32 has become in the last few years. The driveway here is perhaps the most dangerous of the 3 because of it being off a 5 lane main road. The only plus is that the cashiers are normally not too slow to come to the counter to help, but its honestly not worth it.
