TEA WAS BURNT they brew tea using an expresso machine in this specific store all other ones I’ve been too have a pitched of STEEPED TEA. they just throw a bag in there and let the hot water pass through . I asked for a no ice drink so there no chance of it being water down. My drink tasted like burnt water with coconut jelly and cream. We come from out of state and always stop here we generally love the brand but nothing could have been worse than today. I feel the worse for the employee behind the counter, she managed her coworkers as they Gossiped away forcing her to mostly make our entire order herself when they were slacking off going into deep conversation having to pause themselves in the middle of making the drinks. I came back into the store shortly looking for a solution since my drink had tasted odd to me. The same two as before had just repeated to me that they put 75% in my drink how they continued to tell me nothing was wrong with my drink . The same young lady did her best to remedy this situation. I didn’t get her name but the only defining feature was the white head she had on her right cheek. She was the only good employee in the store. I even see before that it’s mentioned about the same duo of girls and their customer service has been spoken about just as recently.I look forward to seeing better days...
Read moreThe store was very clean and bright. Employees were friendly and the service speed was quick. The disappointing part was our drink. We ordered a Passion Fruit & Mango Slush w/ Boba, it turned out to be very watery (we drank it immediately). Most slush we had at other place don't have this amount of water/juice when we just got our drink. If this is how their regular slush being made, I would avoid it and would not order it.
And also the flavor was sort of bland, but this may be caused by we asked for 25% sugar level, and the staff did sort of mention they might use less syrup or something. If this was the case, maybe they should not give option to choose sugar level for slush, as it's not really sugar level, but more of less syrup. We might give it another try next time with regular...
Read moreSo happy Kokee has finally opened. Being from the DMV, I experienced a moment of joy when Kokee opened up walking distance to where I live. This is good and bad news. When they did their soft opening, I was there 4x/week but have now tried to cut down to 1x/every 1-2 weeks for self control reasons. Their Kokee tea is my fave with the perfect milk foam/tea ratio. I’ve found 50% sweetness to my liking along with the boba. The owners and staff have been kind thus far and I am so happy to have Kokee so close to home. Also the croffles are the most odd/delicious things ever. Interestingly enough it tastes just like croissants in waffle form. The texture works to my taste buds liking —...
