Worst Food and service with ignorance on the top!

As we entered in the restaurant, they greet us and give the table. We ordered paneer sizzler, it came promptly and it was OK but the naan comes with the sizzler was very dry. We also had order of cheese dosa, Navratna korma, roti and naan. When the food comes, it was just food …they did not give us any plates to eat in. We see there was two girls standing. We ask her for a plate, and she just wave her hand and point to the server who was taking another peoples order. Then we tried to call him, and he just left so my son had to go all the way to the station and tell him to give us a plate so we can eat. When he brought the plates he started complaining about the other stuff. The curry was totally taste less and again none was dry and Stiff, roti was totally undercooked. When I try to complain about the food and service, the server promptly said, I’ll tell Manager. When Manager came. I tried to explain him that the Navaratna corma with too many potatoes, almost more than a half of it. It shouldn’t be any potatoes in that curry. It used as a filler And even the other things and the curry was just bland mild test less he immediately got offended and said ‘you know like curry then don’t eat it I’m not gonna charge’. I said it’s not about the charge. I’m here to have a good food and service, and again he just kept saying the same thing, I’m not gonna charge you so stop complaining and he got offended so I didn’t said anything about and Roti and he was very ignorant and he started raising his voice so I put everything down I got up and I told him just give me my bill. I have no problem to pay for everything I ordered. I was here to eat and you are not serving good food or Not giving a good service that’s not fair that’s all, but he was persistent about ‘I’m not gonna charge you for the curry’ and I don’t want to hear anything. We didn’t want to make a Seen or get in to the argument. At this time we lost our appetite so we did not finish our food. We just got up paid the bill even when he was charging he continues about he had 100’s of customer who didn’t complain so he is careless about me and my payment so I tried to explain that I just wanted some one to just listen and see from my point of view but he refused so we left. This is one of the worst experience I had in Indian restaurant. One thing for sure this restaurant used to be a good restaurant good food, good service, that’s why we came but I guess not anymore. This was my last time…somehow the other it seems like something changed over last a few months and it was a worst experience. NEVER...

If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience, look no further than our favorite restaurant. From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed with warm, attentive service that makes you feel like part of the family. The staff is always ready with a smile, and it’s clear that they care about your experience, making each visit feel like a special occasion.

But let's talk about the drinks—wow! The Long Island Iced Tea here is a strong showstopper. Perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness and kick, it’s the kind of drink you want to savor, yet you can't help but keep coming back for more. If you’re in the mood for something a bit more exotic, the Lychee Martini is a must-try. The delicate lychee flavor makes it refreshing and smooth, a true standout for anyone who enjoys a unique twist on a classic cocktail. Our bartender, Jyoti, is an absolute wonder. Every time we’re here she knows us and immediately starts our wonderful drinks and every single time they’re amazing.

Now, onto the food. The Butter Chicken is rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. The sauce is velvety and delicious, and the chicken is tender and perfectly cooked, soaking up all those amazing spices. The Chicken Tikka Masala is another favorite, with a flavorful, tangy sauce that’s just the right level of spiciness—nothing too overpowering but enough to give it a kick. You can tell the chefs take pride in their craft, as everything comes out hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious.

And here's the best part—the food comes out fast. There’s no long wait for these mouth-watering dishes. Whether you’re here for a quick or relaxing dinner, the kitchen seems to work in perfect harmony to ensure that you're never left waiting too long. Their lunch is buffet style which lets you try a plethora of different traditional meals and veggies so you really get to experience all types of Indian cuisine for one price!

In short, the combination of outstanding drinks, incredible food, and impeccable service makes this restaurant an absolute gem. We can’t...

This is a place you go to when you want to have a grand Indian lunch buffet. This place is so popular that there is always a wait for the buffet (15-20 minutes). The restaurant has a good variety of South Indian food, tandoori appetizers and other Indian specialties. I have been here before on multiple occasions and have had pleasant experiences but today was a different day.

As usual, I was asked to wait for sometime. There is a waiting room outside and we sat there. After 30 mins, I checked with the lady at the counter and saw that they had already crossed our name in the list. Upon inquiring, she was extremely rude and said that she called us four times which was not true as we were sitting in the waiting area right outside. She could have simply apologized and given us a seat on the next chance but her rudeness was extreme and she was aggressive. She must be having a bad day but then she should not be handling the front desk if she is upset about anything.

We sat for our buffet lunch and the food was average today and the food counters were all empty. There was a delay in refilling the food. The dosa and the uttapam were hard to get as there was a huge waiting and the kitchen was too slow. Overall, the kitchen was not able to keep up to service the number of people they were hosting and it was a really bad experience.

We complained to the person at the front counter about the unavailability of food and instead of apologizing or trying to help, the person rudely admitted that they were slow and asked us not to pay for the buffet if we were not satisfied.

Provided that they are really popular and have been around for a long time, they should know how to manage the crowd and the kitchen.

We were not satisfied with the overall experience. The food was just okay. It wasn't something that I would like to go back to again. On the way out, the owner was considerate enough to charge for only one person rather than the two of us which was the only saving grace.

I am not sure if I am going to be back there soon or recommend...

Madras Chettinad in Alpharetta, GA, has been a staple in my dining experiences since it opened, and it never disappoints. As a long-time resident of the area, I have been a regular patron, and each visit reaffirms why I keep coming back. The food at Madras Chettinad is consistently outstanding. The rich, authentic flavors and the variety of dishes are a true delight for anyone who loves Indian cuisine. Whether it's the perfectly spiced Chettinad Chicken or the deliciously crispy dosas, every meal is a culinary journey. The service is always top-notch. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares about providing a great dining experience. It's clear that they take pride in what they do, and it shows in both the food and the service. I've also used their catering service for several events, and it has always been a hit. The food arrives on time, hot, and just as delicious as dining in the restaurant. It's the perfect option for bringing a taste of Madras Chettinad to any gathering. If you're in the Alpharetta area and looking for exceptional Indian cuisine, I highly recommend Madras Chettinad. It's a gem that has stood the test of time, and I look forward to many more meals there.
