Very disappointed and won’t come back anymore. Oscar was rude and demanded we pay more tips or leave! Don’t waste your money with them, go to Mazzy’s instead, they have better food and service.
We were regulars and loved the place, however Oscar (bartender, I believe that is his name. He wears glasses and had a cowboy hat on, slim built) was just awful.
When we walked in he came up to us and starting telling us “give us better tips or leave”. To clarify, two weeks prior we came and spent about $600, weeks closed the tap 3 tips and tipped every time, the last time we tipped $20 on $200 tap bc the service was bad and we tipped for two other taps well. But even then, Oscar was asking always begging for more tips - it’s very unprofessional. I have worked in the food industry and I get it , tips are a big part of the salary, but NEVER have I been to a place where they beg for tips and come up to the customer to say “give more tips or leave”.
That’s extremely rude.
Tips are optional and are offered for good service - which we didn’t receive. We had to wait for 30-40 minutes between food and drink and had to ask each time 2-3 times to get our orders in because the waiters and the bartenders would simply forget.
Anyway, Oscar did bring drinks “on the house” to make up for his rudeness, but at this point we decided to leave because we heard things from him like “I can refuse service to anyone” and “I could add tips automatically in the bill and you won’t have a say”. Never been to a place like this and I always tip well if the service is good, but not in this place. I am also not the one to leave a negative review.
Very rude staff, slow service, food is ok, and I am pretty sure they dilute their drinks because even after having several shots no one in the group felt anything.
Again, don’t waste your time and money with them , go to any Mazzy location instead their food is better, drinks are great, and the servers are actually nice and will get good tips because of it.

We can’t thank Pepperoni's Tavern enough for turning our night around and giving our baseball team an unforgettable experience!
After being turned away unexpectedly from another establishment, we were in a tough spot — a large group with nowhere to go. But Pepperoni's Tavern stepped up in a HUGE way. From the moment we called, they were ready for us. They had tables set up, greeted us warmly upon arrival, and made us feel completely welcome.
The service was exceptional. Every single staff member was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure our group had everything we needed. With a team full of hungry players and families, that’s no small feat — but they handled it all with professionalism and genuine hospitality.
And the food? Absolutely delicious. The pizzas, wings, and calzones were crowd-pleasers all around. It’s rare to find a place that balances great service with awesome food and still handles a big group effortlessly — but Pepperoni's Tavern knocked it out of the park.
This wasn’t just dinner — it was a fantastic night full of laughter, great food, and wonderful people. We are incredibly grateful to the team at Pepperoni Tavern for saving our evening and treating us like MVPs.
HIGHLY recommend for any group or team gathering. We’ll definitely be back — this...
Read moreI’ve been going to this place for a few years now and never had a problem until last night, and now I’m never going back. First off the Female bartender on duty last night took advantage of my friend who meant to order the drink special, but instead of clarifying if he wanted the drink special or just a regular shot she gives him the regular shot. I felt like this was just a misunderstanding and could have been resolved easily, But when I went to the bar all of the bartenders were fighting me, and proceeded to tell me that I was wrong because my friend is a regular and they just assumed he wanted the regular shot, but it wasn’t true. He wanted the drink special. So I went to talk to my friend about the issue again, and the bartendress comes to drop the check. I told her do not drop the check yet because we still have a problem that has not been resolved, Yet she drops the check anyway. Then I asked to talk to a manager, and he comes out. I told him about what happened, and all he does is walk away. He had nothing to say. I think he may have taken one shot off, but the fact that he didn’t even say anything was very unprofessional, But we paid the check anyway. I just feel that as a costumer I was not being heard. it really hurts that they brushed me off so easily. I feel that how we were being treated was not right nor...
