Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Altamonte Springs

We had a wonderful experience and it was all thanks to everyone for working together as a team.

My son who is 11 and I were in line waiting to order when all of a sudden my son looks at me and says "mom I can not order" I asked why? he replied "I'm scared" I said Brian honey, I believe in you and he still felt nervous but then I said Brian you know Carlton on fresh prince of bel air and he said yes. I said picture me doing the dance in this line, so he did and he started to laugh and I was cracking up too. He said ok i'll order, I replied "I knew you could, I'm proud of you". So we get to the counter and Trey who was working there kindly asked us how could he help us and I saw how busy he was and doing all that he could to keep up with the lunch hour, so I said Hi Trey how are you? He took a deep breath and said i'm good, thank you and it seemed as if he hadn't stopped all day and it was nice that he finally took a breath. There had to be like 14 people in line and 6 people behind the register and they all were so kind and so polite while taking orders. My son was being helped by a nice guy named Jay and while brian was ordering I was listening to him and he kindly asked, my I please have the 12 piece chicken nuggets and can I please have the meal and Jay replied yes of course and then Jay asked what drink would you like and Brian replied, may I please have a root beer and Jay kindly replied yes of course. I looked over and I said to Brian GREAT JOB honey, I am proud of your manners!!!!! I was very impressed and very happy that he wasn't nervous, he was himself and spoke clear and he was proud after he ordered because he knew he was more then capable of doing so. So when we got out food I told Jay and Trey thank you so much for all of your help and that's when Trey looked at Jay and said "Hey, Jay and Trey at Chick Fil A!!!! WE ALL WERE LAUGHING SO HARD, it was the best little thing and I laughed about it all day and I even included it in my speech at toastmaster that night because it was so funny!!!!!!! we had a blast just in those few minutes we were there and they were still working and being productive. I had to share that story because if we as the consumers just stop and say how is your day going before jumping into saying what you want to order it just makes a world of difference to someone because it shows the caring person that you are and it makes for a great story later.

Jay, Trey, Debbie, La Vita were all so wonderful and pleasant to do business with because they were patient, they laughed and smiled and had fun regardless of how busy and stressful it was during lunch time. I ordered a kids meal for my 5 year old daughter with a fruit cup. My daughter can only eat the oranges and strawberries. I asked for the cup specifically this way. When I received the fruit cup it was maybe 1/4th of the way full when I went back to the counter to see if they could correct my order, the “Manager” Caroline was absolutely the most rude “manager” I have ever spoken to. She admitted that I was paying for a full fruit cup, but she hadn’t given me one. She said she couldn’t give me more fruit than what was called for in a regular fruit. I explained that I needed this to be corrected because my daughter is hungry and this is a treat for her . She offered a refund. I told her this didn’t fix the problem. I needed more fruit. She gave me another fruit cup with the same amount of fruit. I have never had this problem at any chick fil a I’ve ever been to. They have always been very wonderful. Do NOT eat at this particular Chick Fil A that is in Altamonte Springs Mall! I ordered the market salad (which I eat at least 6 times a month) and after eating 3 bites of it I realize the chicken in it is GREEN!! Talk about trying to kill someone! There is no excuse whatsoever for this, none! Where is the quality control. When I took it back the cashier and another employee standing near the register were both grossed out by it. The manager tried to tell me it was green from the score marks?? I’m not stupid! Those score lines are not even real! That was a blatant LIE!
