Loca Elotes — Restaurant in Altamonte Springs

I love coming here! Any time I have a craving for an elote, I know this place will not let me down. However, today was a different story. I took my friend to check out this place because she also loves elotes as much as I do. We get to the counter, but no one was there. I asked one of the other food vendors nearby if they knew where the girl was and she said “hold on.” The girl from the other food vendor came back and said “she’ll be right back.” My friend and I waited in line talking about the corn and the candies we were going to get because we can’t find them at other stores. 15 minutes had passed and still no one showed up. I asked the other food vendor girl “did she tell you how long till she gets back?” The other food vendor girl said “no she didn’t. She’s over at another kiosk on her phone.” I was very shocked as this is a business and I would think that this employee would attend customers when someone tells them people are waiting. Purchased the chamoy gushers and they appeared to be a couple days old stuck into one massive glob with a very mushy texture. After trying one I promptly brought them back and asked for an exchange for perhaps a fresher container. I was then told by the woman running the stand no refunds or exchanges since I had picked at them which I hadn’t it’s just the state in which I was sold them and that the container was made “yesterday” and even showed me other containers that looked much different. Not the first bad experience I’ve had here but don’t typically let one or two small inconveniences deter me but will not be coming back now and definitely don’t...

I can’t say how amazing the food was at this location. We got there in the evening around 6:30-7 and there was a long line but the wait WASN’T LONG at all. The parking lot full but there were a few more parking spaces. Thankfully the customers were picking up orders and leaving which was perfect to get a parking spot.
