St Andrews Tavern — Restaurant in Altamonte Springs

I can't say enough about this place. It's just amazing. You just cannot leave this place without having 2 things: the first being their Pastie (hope that's spelled correctly) and peas with gravy. Reserve your judgement until trying the flaky pastry....yum yum yum. Then wash it down with the nectar of the gods...their black and tan. Dropping the mic now.... Only drawback is they do smoke in this location....or used to, I'm not sure since the last 2 times I was there nobody smoked so they may have changed their policy. Regardless, is happily leave there with ashtray essence but with a full stomach, a wonderful buzz, and some happy memories. Refused service for simply wanting a bear to wait out a heavy rain, so I wouldn't get soaked, a long with a valuable UPS package that I was carrying in my backpack, that I was trying to drop off at a UPS outlet and having trouble finding. I was travelling by way of bicycle. I had just ate a baked ziti at a previous stop to figure out what went wrong with directions. Now I am soaked and drinking at Ray's Fish and Chips,, who accommodated me, despite being in a rain suite and backpack dripping wet. Thankfully, I have a rain cover for my back pack or my package would have been dripping wet, putting a computer motherboard at risk of ruin. My favorite pub on the planet! This is a place where i have been lucky enough to find a 2nd family. If you love English food sports and fun, you cant go wrong. Jackie has really given us a wonderful place to hangout. Not a place for the youngest depending on the events happening as it can get English blue if you catch my meaning, but there isnt a better place to watch some footy and have a pint. There are always knowledgeable football supporters of so many clubs including our own Orlando City SC Lions, so the football banter is top notch. C'mon Chelsea!...
