Pretty normal location for this chain. They have all the regular items that you'd expect to find, including housewares, kitchen gadgets, bedding, lighting, art, furniture, and more! One of the things I really love about the store is that there is so much packed into one place.
The parking lot is large but it's a standalone store, so when you get here there really isn't much else to do but go to the store. There is other shopping nearby, however you'll have to get back in your car and find another parking spot in order to get to it. The shopping center is pretty broken up.
The store itself is kept clean, give or take a few areas that have probably been messed up by customers looking through the items. They also keep a clean bathroom which is nice if you need to use it. I still enjoy the classic layout that they use for their register base. I like that they have one line that all goes to every open register. That way if there's one register that has a hiccup, you're not stuck waiting.
Overall: B A very classic location for their chain, nothing unexpected. However, they have all the things...
Read moreI am an interior designer in the Central Florida area and a regular customer at the Altamonte Home Goods store. On some occasions, I purchase items for myself, as well. On Wednesday, the 5th of April, I had to return a comforter and linen bedsheet that I never even opened because I decided I didn’t the like the color. I had some items to purchase first, so picked them up and then went to the cashier. I had the e-receipt and when I showed it to Cashier #1, she inspected it like a fine tooth comb. She asked several times if I had opened it and washed it. I repeatedly told her I had not even opened it and of course never washed it. She was unfamiliar with the characteristics of linen because it was wrinkled and had a faded color. I got very insulted by her behavior of not trusting what I was saying. She finally called the manager because it was over $200. The manager again asked me if I had opened and washed the closed package. It was so embarrassing. I will not go back to that store for any...
Read moreI write this with a heavy heart. I have never had a bad experience until I shopped at this HomeGoods location. I wanted to purchase a broken and scuffed tall Santa. It was discounted $9.99 from $69.99 making it $60. When at the register I asked the for the manager for a discount of 10% more which would be $6. The manager tried to tell me that "it wasn't even that broken". It was definitely broken with the head of Santa falling off. The manager had an attitude as I proceeded to ask for the 10% ($6.00) off. I am a regular shopper spending thousands a year at many TJX locations and now I don't feel like shopping there anymore because of this. I will be using my receipt for the stores information to write TJX personally and I will be contacting a friend of mine who works at their corporate office in Massachusetts. This is not how a manager of Homegoods should behave especially under the...
