FX Hair Studios — Local services in Altamonte Springs

It seems that my review and pics were taken down , but I’d like to share my experience so that no one goes through this. I had my haircut by one of the stylists at FX hair studio, the pictures speak for themselves. I left the salon with wet hair so I didn’t notice what she’d done until I attempted to blow out my own hair later that day…I did go back the day after and she said my hair looked fine. Do not go to this salon!

Response from the owner a day ago After investigating your case we have discover that you are affiliated with another salon and that it is a bad practice to which you dedicate yourself to often write negative comments about other businesses.

We believe that there are clients for everyone, it is not necessary to destroy others to shine. Simply doing a profession job with love and dedication will bring the client you are looking for. We all have a unique gift that others are looking for. It’s unfortunate you are overly sensitive to criticism, reviews are meant to share our experiences good or bad it just happens that the one at your salon was a bad one. I do not only give bad reviews there are some good ones so I don’t “dedicate myself to writing negative comments” I am not affiliated with another salon, I mentioned one and gave her a good review since that’s what the salon deserved…my pics taken after my hair was damaged at your salon speak for themselves. I want to take a moment to express just how exceptional my experiences at this salon have been. From the moment I walk in, I am welcomed by the friendly owners, setting a warm and inviting atmosphere. My hairstylist, Cristina, is truly a magician with scissors and blow-dry; she consistently creates stunning hairstyles that not only make me feel beautiful but also incredibly comfortable.

Then there's Ashleigh, my nail technician, whose talent is simply remarkable. Every visit, she transforms my nails into stunning works of art that I proudly show off every day. Beyond their incredible skills, the entire staff treats both my son and me with nothing less than first-class hospitality.

I especially appreciate how wonderfully they interact with my 2-year-old son, making him feel special and comfortable during our visits—even when I need to bring him along. But make sure you check prices!!

Unfortunately, incredibly expensive, prices aren't listed in the salon. (Balayage yes is expensive and worth the time, but extra charge $45 for a small money piece, additional $38 for blow dry with flat iron/curl when we didn't do style/tools, just blow dried.) as I completely understand certain services are more time consuming and price reflects that Sticker shock is half my fault as I didn't realize I never checked online. But they weren't discussed during consultant for my services either, im not blaming anyone,

I'm leaving the review so anyone else reading will make sure to do their part check for prices and know to ask...
