Froggers Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Altamonte Springs

Wow! I have to tell you!! I had an Awesome time for a bunch of my Friends and I on a Friday night for dinner!! Food? First Base! Price! 2nd Base! Atmosphere? Third Base! Service? Home Runnnn!!!

After several scouting trips around Altamonte to find good food, space enough for 30-40 of my Friends for a Gathering, had good service, Frogger's was JUST what I was looking for! After my second trip on my own ordering a small variety of things to try, seeing how all the staff gets along, all of the patrons seemed to enjoy their meals, and the lively atmosphere, I spoke to the Manager, Russell. I informed him I needed a place for my celebration and if he could help me figure things out. He was soooooo helpful and accommodating to get me set up for a good time with my Friends.

Wow, Froggers delivered! We set up a time and date, and even before the event, Russell contacted me to confirm and gather updates from me which was great! He had all the tables marked off as "reserved", there was a clearly defined area where we could all mingle and catch up with each other, and plenty of space to spread out. It was awesome and he was so helpful.

I also told him that I would need Two Great Servers, and both Courtney and Sierra both agreed to help me have a great night. And, Boyyyyyyy did we!?! We had 52 people show up (I forgot about counting spouses, oops!) and on the fly Russell helped us have some more space and tables for everyone as more Friends kept rolling in the door! And, Courtney and Sierra just rolled with it, keeping their cool, taking orders, bringing drinks, and coordinating with each other. And, each were coordinating with me when people would mingle but their food was ready, they wanted to get the hot food to the right person asap! Great!

As orders were coming out, all I saw were smiles on everyones faces. Well yeah, the menu is strong and I've ordered or tried "bites" of about 20 menu items now! Great food! Even for my Veg and Vegan Friends, Froggers has options. Again, awesome!

I just can't express JUST how happy and pleased I am at how Russell, Courtney, and Sierra, along with the bar staff, the kitchen staff, and everyone that helped that night. Everyone there was friendly, polite, professional, and I heard nothing but excited feedback from my Friends. Some are now new customers from being introduced at the event to how great Froggers is! It made me So Happy.

I normally would not leave a review unless i've had multiple bad experiences with a place. Last night my GF and I decided to go out to at which in this current economy is a treat. We decided to go to Froggers and take advantage of thier boneless wings special.

After sitting down we were immediately greeted by our server who will remain nameless. She answered all of our questions and took our order. We noticed that she was pretty busy running around the entire restaurant while the other to servers bobbled around looking lost, so this girl, who was also fairly new, was helping her tables and theirs.

After some time we ordered 10 more wings to take for my son. She took our order and the manager brought them out to us about 10min later. They had her so busy that for 45min we sat there with empty drinks, a bag of now cold chicken wings and no check

I am calling out the manager here, HE was the one who brought us our togo order and we saw him several times just standing around and I know he saw us sitting there frustrated now nearly 2hrs after arriving. We tried to wave him down but he just wasn't paying attention

after about 55min we finally were able to get our server back to us and we expressed our rconcern, but recognized that she was being over worked and she needed help. She was extremely apologetic and seemed to be frustrated. I asked for the manager or to see if there was something he could do to compensate for the coke food and bad service.

He didn't come to the table at all and left her to deal with it. he gave us 10% off, but not off the bill he gave it to us off each item which doesn't equate to 10%, so I saved like $1.70 in total.

She looked like she was ready to walk out. They expect these girls to be there own hostesses, runners, servers and busters with no sections.

They really need help, so If u want good wings, be prepared to wait until your next birthday for service.

My family and I have been to other Froggers' locations before. However, this was our first time at this location which is within minutes from our home. First of all, it was Tuesday 6:40 PM, we were going to sit on some very spacious area near the bathroom and kitchen, which would have been convenient since we were with our young daughter. However, we were asked to move because they were setting the area for Poker night. We obliged. And we found a cozy table by the window on the other side of the restaurant. The view of Pearl Lake was very peaceful. Little did we know that next to us was going to start the bean bag toss and the annoying, constant thud. We had already order our meal, so we stayed put. That was a big mistake for we were so far from the kitchen that our food was delayed and half warm, but also our server was missing in action most of the time we were there. A party at another table next to us, that sat there after we did, got their food before us and left before we were able to get our meal. According to the manager they were short staff in the kitchen and he gave us a discount, but the fact was that they didn't consider that we had young children with us. I also wanted to order another glass of wine before happy hour was over, but the waitress was nowhere to be found, then she came right after 7 PM. The meal ended up giving us heartburn. It was too greasy and cold. It's our first and last time. The other reviewers' negative experience and comments are consistent with...
