While sometimes no longer fully thought of as a "gay bar", the truth is, any establishment that continues the tradition of offering a free buffet on holidays is a TRUE "gay bar". There was a time when gay men and women looked out for each other ... cared for each other ... and those that weren't accepted by their families had someplace to go on the holidays ... the bar. While things are more accepted these days, it is nice to see a place that continues the tradition. If only we could all continue to look out for each other ... care for each other ... rather than being, all too often, so catty and superficial. The plague years taught us to be humble. It seems our liberty has made us complacent. Oh, the lessons we've forgotten ... oh, the lessons we are doomed to repeat. Alas, optimism and hope can be found in places like this. A gay bar is a place anyone can go to ... and be whoever they are ... and whoever that is, they will be accepted and loved. Let's keep it...

My review will depend solely on one thing because it's always been a fun place the only thing wrong are that straight people are allowed to make fun of the performers and that's wrong. It is a art form to do drag not to mention the role they played in getting the ball rolling for any kind of rights. Just a dive bar that thinks it's upscale. More than half of the drag queens are on drugs or are alcoholics, and the regulars are normally just as drug addled and crazy. Plus, you actually have to pay to see the show itself, $5 a person to be exact. Every time I've gone the drinks have either been too strong or absolutely disgusting. The staff is rude and catty and the queens are very unprofessional, borderline dirty and do not care about personal boundaries. If you want to get hit on by a potential pedophile or black out drunk butch lesbian dressed like eminem that has yet to know what the phrase 'no thanks' means, this...
