Everytime I go to the alton, illinois location on Washington Avenue there are always issues. I went inside today because I had 2 orders and they have problems hearing me over their speaker. There were a few people in line and 1 guy who I thought was in line until he told me he had already ordered. So after 15 minutes, I finally get to order one of my order . I waited on the second so I could make sure I was getting my brother exactly what he wanted. A couple walks in and gets their order taken and then a young man walks in and waits at the counter for about 15 minutes for his order to be taken. I got in line after him so I could place my second orde . The cashier tells the young man who's trying to order a single taco that they only have them as a 2 pack which I'm not sure if that's the case nowadays but when I worked for jack in the box, you could order a single taco, it was just a better deal to order 2. So I get to the counter and the cashier goes and bags my stuff and says he has to go grab my water and I'm like ok cool but I need to place another order. He comes back with my water and walks away. While hes fetching the water bottle, I talk to the man who's been there longer than me and I say your food shouldve come out before mine. And he informs me that he placed his order online about 30 minutes prior and the cashier said they couldn't find the order and that they would check back in 5 minutes but that 20 minutes had passed since they had told him that. The cashier is nowhere to be seen so I decide to drive through the drive thru for my second order because it seems that the drive thru customers are getting their food way faster than anyone inside is. Something needs to change with the washington location. Maybe scrap the whole crew and bring in a new one because you're going to lose a lot of customers with who you have working there right now. I'd rather drive the extra 5 or 10 minutes to the Alby/Homer Adam's location or even the woodriver one instead of having to deal with the rude, uncaring employees at the...
Read moreThe husband was craving Jack In The Box, stopped in (Washington Street)and there was 1 vehicle in Drive Thru.....took the person 3 minutes to explain a short simple order to the person on the intercom. We pull forward, silence for a few minites before a guy comes across with the sleepiest lowest sounding "Jack in the Box" took 2 times explaining we need 2 meals. In which the guy responds "what?!"........pull forward.....were waiting .....the vehicle in front of us starts getting short tempered. They finally hand her a small bag and she leaves. We pull forward, its insanity. The employees act as if they do NOT KNOW HOW TO BAG AN ORDER. It got worse because no one in there seemed like they were trained for their position. The guy was struggling to fix the soda machineappeared to be a manager????, another guy was literally making circles, looking at the order screen and back at the food. This happened at least 5 times. A deer in headlights crew. Whats happening here? Finally asked for our money back after seeing the employee grab fries off the top of the box with his hands and throw them back in the bend. Took 6 more minutes for them to figure out how to open the register to refund our money. We got our money and left. Rolled to the other Jack in the Box, not ANY BETTER! They tried to give us the wrong food bag, twice, even after telling them our order several times. Very...
Read moreToday went in for lunch. I was my normal nice self. The girl working was an African American girl with short hair her eyebrow was pierced and she was wearing a grey hoodie and had hospital bracelets on it looked like. Very rude, in no way shape or form should she work customer service. I asked for buttermilk and she got all grr about it. Then, with a bit of anxiety and a joke in hand "please don't hit me" with a smile on my face..Dunno if she heard me over her loud/rude personality though. I asked for salt fearing her being set off. I have never met this woman to my knowledge but she was to my husband and I one of the worst encounters we've come across ever while being serve at any food place. Then the next person she used terms like, "honey". On top of EVERYTHING someones kid or someone was sleeping in the lobby. There was food on the table and they were laying across the chairs asleep..This is not a place to conduct business or represent jack in the box its a zoo. Talking to managers of establishments like this do no good because 1, turn over rates are already horrible. 2, most of the time people hire their buddies. Nobody should get treated like they are sh#t on another's shoe. I didn't treat her that way or come across that way either. If she was having a bad day, everyone has them you need to learn to separate yourself. She seemed just fine though to the...
