Arby's — Restaurant in Altoona

Will never go here again!! Dirty, inattentive staff, subpar food. First hot sandwich, asked for no lettuce-got lettuce. The chicken was hard and cool, the sandwich, although wrapped in the little foil bag, was not even warm enough to take the chill off the cheese slice. When I took it back up, I stood there waiting while 2 workers stood by tje drive thru soda machine not acknowledging me until I said excuse me. Then they made a new sandwich and microwaved it so then, there wasn't even any noticeable cheese, it all melted and slid off. Tomatoes were almost white and they put onions on it...the sandwich didn't even have onions as a standard. Our curly fries were clearly the bottom of the bag butt pieces. Little fruit like flies all around the condiment station and trash. The dining room had multiple dirty tables, the condiment station was filthy. We were the only people in the dining room, drive thru was consistent but not busy, not a single person was working on the cleanliness but several were pretty busy chatting and one even had a non worker there at the counter the entire time we were there...had to finish her conversation with him before she could even take our order. With paying over $20 for fast food and tossing about 1/3 of it...never going back. Their corporate should send a secret guest to this store...

My last couple of meals from this Arby’s have not been good and a waste of money. Today I ordered the smokehouse brisket sandwich. The brisket was so tough and fatty that I couldn’t even bite into it and I’m not exaggerating. Considering that I’m paying over $10 for this meal I expect for it to be edible and not have to throw my lunch away. I really want a refund but I’m working and don’t have time to drive all the way back over there.

Also, as a side note, I was going to complain that my sandwich was not made correctly but I did just go and look at the website and see that the recipe has changed. It used to have brisket, gouda cheese, crispy onions, bbq sauce, and mayo. It now only has brisket, mild cheddar, crispy onions, and bbq sauce. I really wish the the employee who took my order informed me that it was different now because it’s quite awful and I would have gotten something different. This had to of been a recent change because I was there not that long ago and it was made the old way.

Anyways, I highly do not recommend the smokehouse brisket sandwich now that they’ve changed the recipe and will not be...

Stopped into Arby's for a quick lunch. It was quick, up to standard, and experience was pleasant.

I'm not usually around Altoona, but since I was I stopped in to get lunch. The lot and building were clean. Inside the restaurant was clean and signage was clear. Ordering was a breeze. A nice young lady took my order and was pleasant. I took advantage of a special and skipped the drink, so for a couple sandwiches and curly fries it was just shy of $10. Not bad for Arby's. I stopped into the bathroom to wash my hands while waiting for my food. Bathrooms were clean, well lit, and stocked. Food came quickly and the got my simple order correct. I added Arby's sauce to one sandwich. The condiment and drink bar was clean and stocked.

Food was delicious, and per the usual at Arby's. I got two regular roast beef sandwiches and curly fries. All of them were hot and fresh and filled me up well.

I would recommend this restaurant. The crew was friendly, food was hot and delicious, and everything was clean...
