Have you ever left Panda thinking, "Wow! That food was excellent!"? I can answer that for nearly all of you. No. The food is often stale, sometimes cold, occasionally overcooked and very seldom satisfying. Many times they are out of what you want so you may have to wait 10+ minutes in the drive-thru. Sometimes things are left off of your order and you do not know it until you get home. It has the market cornered on drive through Americanized "Chinese" food so I eat there when I am too lazy to drag my big butt out of the car to get Asian food at a non-chain restaurant. Tonight was the last time though. There was something wrong with the rice. Not sure what. It didn't taste too terrible but there was something wonky about it. I finished more than half of my two entree meal, and wishing that I had just driven the extra two miles to get Jimmy John's, I went to my office to do some work. About 15 minutes after I finished eating, I'll spare you the details, but bad stuff started happening within my digestive system. How do I know it was the Panda food that caused the disruption? Because, I have had nothing else to eat other than an egg and an English muffin since early this morning. This was just the final straw. No more Panda for me. I can find better. I will just have to get out of the car to do so. It has been about two hours and I think all of the offending food is through my system because I am starting to feel better. I gave one star because the string bean chicken was hot, even though I had to wait for it, and one star because they are collecting money for a children's hospital which is a...

I travel for a living and if there is a Panda Express close by my hotel I will always eat there at least once, I always order the same thing, a Bowl of fried rice with teriyaki chicken. I am in Ankeny Iowa right now and went to the only Panda Express in the town, the serving was very small in comparison to what I am used to, so the second time I went I asked the guy if I could have a little more rice and he told me "no" because they have standard serving sizes and wherever I had gotten it before must have been giving me way too much(25 to 30 other Panda Expresses). I left and went to the Altoona restaurant and ordered my regular order and the pictures here is what I got. I am used to the bowl being so full the lid is always about to burst open and the chicken is pressed into the rice, and on this one, when I first took it out of the bag I thought they had made a mistake and thought I had ordered just the chicken. The chicken was nowhere near the lid let alone about to burst open. This bowl with rice and chicken was barley half full. I don't know what's going on in Iowa but I will never throw my money away visiting one of your Panda...

This place was freezing cold. So cold we could not eat inside. We elected to get carry out containers & eat outside. The tables were disgusting & sticky plus the trash was overflowing. When we were ready to leave I informed them of the trash & they were very friendly & said they would get right on it. We left 15 minutes later & trash was in same condition. The worse part is we ate at 8:00 pm on the 13th of August on the way to an important meeting in Minneapolis that cannot be rescheduled. I woke up at 4:00 a.m. with diarrhea & vomiting, sweats then chills. The only thing I had that my family did not have that night was the sweet fire chicken. It has taken me 2 hours of sickness to get to the point that I could even write this review. I hope I can get to my meeting & I will be monitoring this site to see if anybody else that ate here on August 13th became ill. I will not return to...

My husband just went and picked up food and brought it open I opened my box and took a bite of my orange chicken and felt a huge crunch and something sharp. I spit the chicken out and found a bone in my orange chicken. This is the first time this has happened to me and I know it was probably an accident but I hope to never find a bone in my chicken cause I love Panda express and this was super unexpected.

I ordered honey sesame chicken with white rice!! I barely got any food for what I pay for. You're supposed to get 2 scoops of food, but I know this is not 2 scoops. They were completely out of white rice. The one in Altoona, Iowa always falls short of being a good restaurant. Their managers need to do a better job!!! Whether it's an hour or 2 from closing. The one in Ankeny is so much better!!!
