Arby's — Restaurant in Altus

Let me first say the food was okay. The service by Chrystie was amazing, dine-in experience at a fast food restaurant. Very helpful and friendly, expecially for the elderly. You can tell she loves taking care of people. Then after eating we ordered a snack size Smores shake for my young child. When it came out didn't have the toppings or anything like the picture. I took it up to the counter and was informed by a very rude lady, I believe Tammy is her name that the snack size doesn't come with all of that. I explained that no where does it say that and I feel they should explain that when ordering. If you order something, you expect to get it. She was very rude and turned her back on me while talking to her. I told her she could ignore me all she wants, but they need to inform the customers they will not be getting what they want unless they order a bigger size. I had to order another one to get what we wanted. If she would have mentioned that in the first place I wouldn't have to order two separate ones. I will not be going back unless I speak with a manager to discuss what happened and they teach Tammy how to deal with customers. A young man working there was helping and friendly as well. Got notified fish sandwiches I ordered were not available as my granddaughter entered the restaurant for pickup. She was called, was confused when the call was from Arbys and was thinking after being told the fish was not available. The caller hung up. At the counter the male register person seemed willing to help but was stopped by a female co-worker and told "the order is made, you can get fish next visit." The order was waiting. How was the order waiting in the time my granddaughter took the call on her way inside and when she reached the counter 3 meters away? They definitely have the meats, for better or worse. Many of the offerings have improved over the years yet, it seems the portions have changed. This is a decent location and the staff is friendly and helpful. The lobby and toilets are kept clean. The roast beef and cheddar or nostalgic sandwiches that were juicy and flavorful. The potato cakes and curly fries are some of the best alternatives to traditional fries in a fast food setting you can find. There seems to always be a special promo going here, so definitely take advantage of any good offers...
