Beachy Bean Coffee Co. — Restaurant in Alys Beach

We visited today and we're very disappointed. Their pastry case is not enclosed and there were flies all over the items displayed. Also the muffin was completely dried out, which I assume is due to them being out in the open all day. There is an extreme lack of sanitation in this place. Our drinks were placed on a counter in the bar which is in a separate room. There is a liquor tap that was infested with flies which swarmed the lids of our drinks. We ended up dumping everything we ordered. We didn't bother to go back to complain because the girl taking our order didn't seem to understand English very well (she spoke spanish) and she was pre occupied on a phone conversation that seemed very heated. We really wanted to have a nice afternoon coffee and snack but from the looks of this place, food should not be served here.

For the record. I'm not from the area, I've visited the last few years. It's a shame that instead of correcting the issue, the owner would try to pass my review off as fraudulent. Very...

We went here 3 times on our vacation. It’s a very cute, beachy property which is the attraction. The food is satisfactory, the coffees are good when they get them right. Today, my daughter and I ordered white mochas (separate tickets, separate orders) and both of us got regular mochas. I went to the counter to exchange mine for a white mocha and the staff were AWFUL! Andrea, who waited on me, told me I had to ask for white mocha if that’s what I want because otherwise you get regular mocha. I told her 3 that I wanted white mocha because she didn’t understand me. Also, my daughter ordered white and got regular so clearly it was staff not understanding, not us. That part of the encounter was whatever but it’s utterly ridiculous to get attitude from someone when they are the one that messed up. I’ll never go back here and don’t recommend it if customer service is important to you at all. Andrea is extremely RUDE, Sandra is only slightly less rude and neither should have jobs dealing...

These people are EXTREMELY rude! We drove an hour to come to this coffee house and spent $50 for a rubbery- flavorless breakfast burrito. You could literally bounce the egg right off the floor. I don’t think eggs are supposed to be that boyant.

It’s 30A we were expecting to pay for overpriced mediocre food.. what we were NOT expecting was to be treated so ugly.

Got an iced tea and went to ask for a refill- instead of kindly saying, “I’m sorry we don’t give refills”. I was met with eye rolling - being snickered at .. both employs looking at me like I was a unicorn and being snapped at , “ no you gotta pay for that!” It was all in the tone and mannerism in which she said it. Don’t know who peed in your fruit loops this morning- but if you don’t like people… find another job!

The atmosphere is gorgeous tho- and the Red Bull blended...
