The Eastern Lake beach access point gives you a beautiful view of the lake as you walk towards the beach. It also has a shower, next to the intersection with Eastern Lake Road, for a quick rinse after your time at the ocean. However, be warned, it’s hard to call this a “beach access”. Depending on the tide and whether the lake is draining into the ocean, these stairs dump you right into the lake. During our visit to 30A, the lake was low enough that you could wade through waist deep water to get to the sand, but you couldn’t get to the ocean without getting wet.
