I usually love braums and was looking forward to it after moving back to Texas after a year, but literally the worst experience I’ve had. I ordered chicken tenders and the lady was so nice but the tenders were tough and chewy. I let it slide since I was really looking forward to the ice cream. I usually get a double dip sundae modeled after a banana split so that I won’t eat three scoops. I asked for a tuxedo since I thought it would be easier and asked if I could have rocky road for both ice creams. I know it’s usually one vanilla and one chocolate but I was really just wanting chocolate and marshmallow topping then adding a banana on top. The lady (named Tasha, supposedly a shift lead) scoffed and turned to her coworker and asked “can I do that?” While rolling her eyes. I already have a hard time asking for what I want since I get social anxiety but I stood there amazed that my request was seen as “too much”. I literally wanted to cry cause I thought I was being rude but the other lady said “that’s fine”. Which eased me a bit but I couldn’t muster the courage to ask for banana. I ended up just grabbing one from the grocery side. Anyway, I waited for my husband to order and he received the same attitude even though he got the simplest order: single dip strawberry sundae. She huffed as she made it. The real shocker is she gleefully spoke to her coworker and as soon as she approached the counter with our stuff, her whole demeanor changed. Cold, rude, and bothered. I get this job is stressful (I’ve worked at sonic), but damn at least fake it. I’m so frustrated and disappointed. I would’ve done a one star but the ice cream is too good.. sorry for the rant. I just...
Read moreI can't believe I have to leave a 1-star review for a Braum's store, but this experience was so terrible that I am submitting a formal complaint with corporate following this review.
While I did not directly experience any issues with my order, I did experience secondhand the absolutely gross and unprofessional quality of employees that staff this establishment after 8pm. Now, I cannot say that they are all rude. Matter of fact, it seemed to be one specific employee that was causing a lot of the problems, but it was affecting every customer that was walking in, waiting for a pickup order, and waiting in drive thru.
This one particular employee (wish I had their name but I'm not even sure they were wearing a name tag) was being so rude to the other employees (and even customers!!) and screaming and yelling all over the place. They were berating every single employee and customer in that store. The other employees were very visibly distraught and frustrated. One employee looked to be new, and they were getting every single bit of negative attitude and criticism from the screaming employee. I don't know if this person is the only bad employee, but corporate needs to visit this location and fix these issues immediately. This is a toxic environment for everyone involved.
I will refuse to visit this location until I know for a fact that this issue has been resolved. I cannot even imagine working in an...
Read moreBest beef steak you will ever grill if you go to the Market. And I like the ice cream here much more than even Bluebell. The flavors are just so many and almost all of them seem like they were made just for me. They don't do like other companies and have 25 kinds of "chocolatey-covered, chocolate swizzle, choco crazy fudge crunch with chocolate chip"....no, they make amazing and inventive flavors that represent all parts of the world and not focus on one single flavor done 2 dozen ways.
Also if you are lactose intolerant, Braums is the only farm in America that only has the type of cows (A2) that make a different protein than the ones that upset your stomach, and those milk cows naturally produce much more protein in it per cup. Its hard to drink any other milk after having Braums and you will never feel that gurgly belly after smashing a big glass. ....probably why their ice cream is so amazing too, just awesome, rich whole milk. Oh and P.S. their pork breakfast sausage is to die for in breakfast tacos. Better than Jimmy or Owen by far. To sum it up, they make all their own stuff from obvious fantastic farming and ranching practices that really shows up in the quality of their meats and creams. Braums is not a fast food joint, it's like an old country town that all brings the best of what they have together, to make a masterpiece of an under-appreciated...
