Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Amarillo

This place sucks. I waited over an hour for my food as I watched the frantic Singular carhop handle everyone’s order on cheeseburger day. It was insane. I tipped as much as I could, it was apparent how dysfunctional the kitchen was. I was not the only one frustrated, as many other customers had driven off while waiting for their food, most likely causing some sort of mishap within the kitchen involving the orders, delaying newer orders. I wouldn’t be surprised if the carhop had made a few mistakes amidst the chaos. It was chaos. There was only One carhop on an obviously extremely busy day. This all could have been avoided just by having a bigger staff crew, actually giving the time of day to train them properly, and probably replacing management all together, I’ve worked in a kitchen for over 8 years and that is where the problem usually lies. For the last 10 years, I can't remember the last time the service was as bad as this one. I went through drive through and was greeted polited and asked what I'd like. I told the employee Chris that I'd like to have a hot fudge sundae and that I have a coupon for it as well. Then his tone changed immediately and ask "what does the coupon said?", I told him that it said $.99 and that would be all. He told me the total and said to pull up to the windown. His tone was very demeaning as if I was begging for the food. Once I pulled up to the window, I asked if its possible if i can have caramel on the order and he slammed and shut the windown rudely. This was the tipping point for me to make me write a negative review. Ok every time I come to this sonic my order gets messed up,while I was sitting on the drive thru they were just talking and talking ,then when i got my order the didn't put any condiments in the bag but they didn't even bother to ask if everything was ok so I had to knock on the window for them to acknowledge me,it kinda seems the conversation they were having was more important ,then I got home and I was missing an item from my order so i called and they said they couldn't hear me to call back to see if the connection would fix ,i tried calling and they never answered so I had to drive all the way from my house just to tell them what was wrong with my order talking to the so called store manager but she didn't seem to care how upset I was she just laughed at me and didn't even apologize being her the expeditor bagging the food needs to put more attention and be more...
