Lupita's Mexican Food — Restaurant in Amarillo

The food wasn’t terrible, but it certainly was not worth the price. The burrito was ok, nothing special. The hot sauce wasn’t good. I got a beef, bean and potato burrito and it was $6.50. I was shocked when I saw the size of it and not in a good way. Small burrito that was lacking on the filling. I would compare it to a flour tortilla being dipped in a thick stew. The taquitos from Whataburger are bigger. The burrito was just way too small for the price. I feel it should have been about $2.50-$3.00 for what I got. I had opened a amarillo national account and had received a card a few days prior to using the card at this location this past Friday, I can’t prove it was them but the very next day someone tried buying things online from China and Germany. Like I said, I can’t prove it but my card was put on hold and had no way to access my money till Monday. Be careful at this location, one of the employees is taking our info and committing fraud. There's really nothing to this place as far as aesthetics. It's an old rundown building with only drive-thru. I don't believe you can dine inside. The food is good and really authentic. I just prefer Tex-Mex. The line is always 20+ minutes too. I guess that means it's good, but it also means it takes forever for a couple burritos. I don't go here unless someone else wants to go.
