Juice Pod Ambler — Restaurant in Ambler

Visited Juice Pod's Ambler location twice. I will say that their juices and smoothies are very fresh/you can tell the produce used is very fresh and of good quality. The smoothies and juices have great flavor. The menu is vast. Pricing is on par with other Juice/Smoothie establishments. I was very excited to see this business come into downtown Ambler. Just what we needed! My major issue with this establishment was the customer service (or lack thereof) received. Keeping in mind I have visited during their opening week(s) and during the COVID pandemic. The owner or manager was very unpleasant and unwelcoming (on both occasions). The woman greeting guests as they arrive (which I am assuming is a manager or owner), seemed completely irritated and frazzled on both occasions. Which in turn made me uncomfortable. She was very rude and aggressive with some of her remarks and rules for COVID (which that part is fine). I am in the service industry and for me even if a place has an excellent product I will not return if the service is poor. Likewise if a product is not excellent but the service is wonderful I would definitely return/give the business another try. With competitors coming into town, I will be interested to see how the Juice Pod continues. I initially wrote an unfavorable review as a result of an untrained or young or inexperienced or incompetent representative who allowed me to go out the door with a mistake she made and didn't tell me. The owner responded with an offer to refund my payment. She was so gracious and apologetic, I feel badly and in retrospect, what happened is really collateral to the business of selling fruit drinks. I don't want the refund. I want you to know the products and juices are wonderful. The place and restroom is spotless. Perhaps the most difficult part of running a local business is achieving consistent excellence with rigorously trained servers exhibiting grand hospitality experience. What happened is the our cost to support our local businesses over corporate chain operations selling expensive mediocrity. I love visiting the Juice Pod whenever I travel through Ambler. I make a specific stop just to buy carrot juice. I'm changing my review to reflect the true overall nature of the product and the small town local business it is. I'm obsessed with Juice Pod and all of their products... nowhere else around compares to them. All of their products are always so fresh and there is so much variety to their menu, I never get bored! There are so many options of fruit and extras to top a bowl with and different bases for them as well, which makes it even better. Not to mention, the size and quality of their bowls and smoothies are incomparable to any other place; you get such a generous amount of whatever delicious base you choose and fresh fruit.
