So.... this is kind of a mixed review as I'm really on the fence about how I should rate this place. Let me explain... the place is tiny. There is one table with 2 chairs... I did not do MY homework, as I was thinking this was a dine-in establishment. However you can take your food to the Pub across the street and eat there if you order a beer ... great little business relationship they have going there! So about the food.... there was A LOT of variety...I ordered the Mushroom Horseradish pierogies and the Potato pancakes.... I was not impressed with either one. Now I know my pierogies... I went to a Ukrainian catholic grade school... the elders made pierogies in our school gym on Fridays and I had married into a Polish family. These, in my opinion, we're not up to par. But despite MY opinion the place was bustling, people were in and out picking up orderes, buying food.... alot of items on the board were sold out ... so that is that part I was on the fence about and I wanted to write a fair review. So... try it out...
Read moreI have ordered from here plenty of times and had no issue and the food was even great. Tonight was a horribly bad. I order the PK schnitzel picture attached. This was the saddest version of this dish I have ever had. The pork was so cooked it was tough, the entire meal tasted like it was a frozen dinner without seasoning. For a place that does perogies to have mashed potatoes this bad isn't good. Its tough to order here due to the restaurant never having the items that they have due to selling out. The perogies came out very unimpressive tonight compared to their usually good standard. They were soggy and we added a side of kielbasa for 6$ and was an abysmal portion of this. You might sell well it was take out, but we ordered for 6PM and got there 9 till 6, and the food was sitting ready. By the time we got it home 4 minutes later it was cold. Needless to say I am very disappointed in a place I have been a patron at many times and...
Read moreThis is a nice little spot for getting some great Pierogies. They have a variety of Pierogies ready made for a fair price.
The Pierogies themselves are made on location as far as I'm aware. They come either hot or frozen. All of them are frozen, and if you order them hot, they'll fry them up for you with onions and other toppings.
The pierogies come in many flavors and are packaged in groups of six. You take them back home and fry them or bake them yourself.
The store itself is not a restaurant. There is a small table that you could eat at, but they don't intent for people to eat there. If you get the Pierogies hot, they put them in a to-go box with plastic utensils.
Accessing the store is nearly impossible if you're driving. There aren't any parking spots in front of the store. You have to drive a few blocks down the road and park at a field if you...
