I had the most amazing experience renting my suit from Tony Laguta’s in Ambler! From the moment I walked in, the warmth and friendliness of this family-run shop were apparent. The lovely mother greeted me with such kindness and a great sense of humor. I told her I wanted everything in black, and with a twinkle in her eye, she joked, “You’re going to look like Johnny Cash!” It was the cutest thing ever, and I couldn’t wait to see the suit.

Two days before my wedding, I was running late for my pickup appointment, and the shop was super busy. Tony, who I believe is her son, went above and beyond to accommodate me. He was incredibly sweet, made sure I was comfortable, and helped me try on the suit despite the hectic schedule. Their dedication to making everything perfect for their customers truly stands out.

When I returned to drop off the suit, I even got to share my wedding photos with them. It was a special moment, and it felt like catching up with friends. I am always a little hesitant to try out a new business, but I just moved to the area and needed a tailor for my off-the-rack wedding tux and another black suit I just bought. I couldn't be happier with the service I received.

Frank knows the tailoring/suiting business; it's in his blood. He spent about an hour with us making sure we were happy with everything and I never felt like he "sold" us on anything - (you would think he would want to make as much money as possible, but in fact, I think he really wants you to look super sharp in your suit) - in fact, at one point we were on the fence about whether to perform a relatively simple ($10) versus more complex ($60) tailoring procedure and he recommended the cheaper/simpler option. Frank also told us how, despite already being a fantastic tailor, he is still learning tricks of the trade from a 101 year old Master Tailor. If you want great value, go somewhere that has knowledgeable and honest staff. That's what you'll get here - true craftsmanship without being oversold.

Heard about Tony Laguda from word of mouth and could not be more impressed. My boyfriend and I were in town for the weekend for a wedding and he was missing a few things for his tux and they hooked him up. We called ahead to check that it was okay to walk in and when we got there they were so friendly and helpful! We bought a tux shirt, bow tie, and rented shoes for great pricing. They have a great selection and are happy to help you figure out exactly what you need and what works for you. They measured him for the shirt and it was a perfect fit. When asking about getting a potential deodorant mark out of his tux jacket they took it back, pressed it, and even put a temporary adjustment to shorten the sleeves when they noticed it was too long when he tried it on.
