I cannot say enough amazing things about Daneen and how she made my daughter's birthday the most amazing party. I had 14 kids ranging from 7-9 years old and at one point it was so quiet because they were so focused on the art. Daneen is so easy to work with and I loved that I could text her about the party and she replied right away. I was able to add people late with no issue and once we got there she ran the whole party including painting faces, showing them how to decorate the t-shirt box, making shirts and holding a dance party at the end. The parents who stayed got to hang out and talk b/c the kids were having such an amazing time. I could not be more thrilled with how everything went and how Daneen made it so easy. I love Mermaid Art Studio! My daughter took the Art Smorgasbord class in Fall 2021 and enjoyed every minute of it. The owner Denine is extremely knowledgeable and an effective, patient, and caring teacher.

We decided to have my daughter's 8th birthday party at Mermaid because she loved the art class so much. Attached is a picture that Denine sent me of her setup for my daughter's party. Had my daughter’s 5th birthday party here yesterday, and it was a great experience! The space was charming, and Deneen made everything run smoothly. The kids started with face painting and some coloring while waiting for their turn. Then, they moved to the back room to choose a project to paint, which they loved. After cake, there was time for more face or arm painting, and we wrapped up with a fun freeze dance party.
