Allow me to preempt this review by stating that I have NEVER written an online review for ANYTHING before.

"The Local Vapor" is an outstanding addition to the retail revival of downtown Ambler! The shop itself is immaculate and the predominant wood decor is almost as warm and welcoming as the employees. As a neophyte to the vast world of vaping, I can honestly say that I was incredibly intimidated to enter this shop for the first time a few months ago. I had no idea what to expect and was apprehensive that my lack of knowledge and experience would make me a prime candidate for being ripped off. After reading reviews for both their Ambler and Doylestown locations, I decided to give them a try...

My experience at The Local Vapor exceeded all of my expectations and quelled all my vaping anxieties. Ryan and Ken are what I now refer to as my local "philovapesophers" as they are unrivaled in their love and wisdom for vaping. Despite my 5,000 questions, they have always gone above and beyond to help me have the best vaping experience possible. Patient and kind; they are more than willing to bestow their vaping knowledge upon all whom enter (and not in that uncomfortable, pushy, used car salesman kind of way). All of the juices they carry are premium grade, so I am confident that what I'm inhaling isn't cooked with ingredients found in household cleaners or used to operate anything owned by SEPTA. The Local Vapor offers punch cards for purchases, encourages you to sample any of their juices, and will walk you through any and everything you need to know about vaping! They even have a text blast list you can sign up for to receive a heads up on sales so your paycheck doesn't go up in smoke!

UPDATE. I dropped my vape, and the screen would not work at all. As you can imagine, this was bad news. It still was usable, but I knew it was a matter of time until it became useless. I called my usual store, no one answered. I tried again later.. No answer. So, I thought, let me try The Local Vapor. My vape isn't the most popular or newest model, but I know TLV has cool stuff that other places don't.. And, lo and behold, they had it in stock!!! They were even open late enough for me to go after work on a Saturday! The guy was awesome. They had the exact matching tank, the price was great, and now I have a shiny new vape that WORKS PERFECTLY. Here is a photo of me holding my cool new vape. Went in to buy a vape, walked one block and noticed the inside battery was loose and moving around and wasn’t hitting right. Went back no more than two minutes later and the rude guy behind the counter wouldn’t let me change it for a new one. Told me there was “nothing he could do”… hahaha ok. I’ve spent 100’s of dollars in your store and that’s how you treat me??

No problem buddy, I just will never step foot in there again and you lost my business. If you’re looking for good customer service, just walk a couple blocks down to chat walla.
