The Coffee Shop — Restaurant in American Fork

I mean, be as mad as you want, but I came here to the coffee shop and wanted tea.... You can be even more mad if you have to, because I ordered an Arnold Palmer, without having any liquor in it. Haha! (Don't worry too much though, I'll be sneaking it home and adding some good stuff to it)

Parking lot was pretty full, and it surprised me, but upon walking in loved how the place was set up. They have some really cool artwork on some of the walls, as well as a lot of books and board games, and even a few Rubik's cubes. (The two Rubik's cubes were not finished when I showed up, but don't worry, I took care of it for everybody. Haha!)

I was greeted upon walking up to the cashier, and she asked me if I needed anything... She asked me if I wanted to order anything, and I calmly asked her to give me a few minutes, because I'd never been here before.

After a few minutes, I decided to go with the Arnold palmer -as previously mentioned. Haha!

It was brought out to be pretty quickly, and I was dramatically surprised how amazing it was. I hate to say it, but this may be the best Arnold palmer, without liquor, that I've ever tried.

I am super bummed. I have been coming here since they opened but haven’t been in awhile. They don’t have the prices on the menu so I didn’t think anything had changed. I ordered my usual drink, that I get wherever I go, SF vanilla latte and My daughter got a Carmel macchiato. When we get this at Starbucks same size everything it’s usually around $12. When I signed for my total here it was $18!!!! I have never paid this much at any coffee place I have been to! I go to coffee places regularly and try out coffee in different states and have never paid this much for two basic drinks!! I get there is inflation everywhere, everyone has raised their prices but charging this much for coffee is outrageous. Sad to say I will never be going back. Update* This place is good however I've stopped going due to inconsistent prices. They don't have prices on the menu so it seems they can charge whatever they want. One day it was super affordable and the next day it was 2x more which ended up being pricier than the big mermaid company down the street 😵so I ended up ordering the cheapest coffee they had instead. They still had friendly customer service and it still tasted good however the inconsistent price changes are sketchy and can be outrageous sometimes or you just might get some crazy good deal who knows. 🤷
