I was really impressed with this place! You think just because you're in Utah you've tried all the burger joints, but boy was I wrong.

What's not to like about this place? It's close to home, not as crazy crowded as other joints (because it's kind of nicely tucked away), and it's next to other food businesses that we have an appreciation for.

I tried the "Johnny" burger, which has ribeye steak, egg (I chose it over easy, is there any other way to have the egg over a burger?), avocado, tomatoes, crispy onions, and pepper jack cheese (I hate American cheese on anything). It was TO. DIE. FOR. Like this burger was honestly one of the best burgers I've had and I've had my share of good burgers.

Their french fries were unique in the sense that it looks like potato shavings, and they were perfectly salted. All our food came out nice and hot and everyone really enjoyed their meals.

The ambiance was good, super friendly employees, and even gave our table 2 minute checks to make sure our food was done the way we liked. In addition, they also took away empty plates with smiles on their faces.

The only thing I didn't care for was their lighting - they have white lights inside the restaurant, so it doesn't feel as "warm and cozy" there. White lights in restaurants are a little harsh and give you a sense of "cold" and under the microscope feeling. I'm hoping they will consider changing out their lighting to more of a warm (yellow) color and turn down the lights just a tad in the seating area. Other than that, the first...

I came here with about 12 others. It was on my birthday. First time here along with other friends first time - they had good reviews so thought we'd try it. They were kind in accommodating us so was very appreciative of that (hence the two stars). Food had mixed reviews (other than the fries, everyone liked the fries). Service was great until the end.

I got the sliced Rib-eye, and every friend that got a sliced rib-eye burger was not pleased with it. However, to their credit everyone that got a burger with a patty had high praise, so I suppose I just chose the wrong burger but the fact that they have several burgers with sliced rib-eye and everyone that got them dislike them was interesting.

In terms of the service, it was good overall. However, at the end I had a drink that was not finished (you'd be able to pick it up and feel it) and we had accumulated all the receipts for points. We were still by the table chatting but a waitress took my drink as well as the receipts without even asking us. Given there were 13 receipts that could have easily been a free burger, possibly two? When I turned around and wondered where my drink was, I then asked the waitress and she said "oops, I thought you were done". I then also saw all the receipts were taken. Please don't make assumptions that people are "done", and taking a moment to ask us when we're right there would not have hurt. In fact, would have been much appreciated, but since we weren't asked it had the...

So, just my first time here ... In fact, had never even heard of it until I was driving by and wanted to check it out From first thoughts, I do like how much open space there is. They've done a pretty good job in having areas where you can sit and talk with your friends without having to hear the 10 people next to you. They do a pretty great job in greeting you as soon as you walk in, and after expressing that this was my first time here, they were quick to offer suggestions. For my order, I decided to go with the "meat man." And didn't want any fries. (I generally don't like fries, and also didn't like the idea of paying $3 for fries that I probably wouldn't eat.)

Upon getting my order out to the car, and box opened, I could see that half my toppings had fallen off to the side. (they put the burger in the box, without it being wrapped... Maybe it should be protected better, when carrying it out.)

My burger was really nice though! They told me that they generally cook their meat medium, but could change it based on my preference.... I expressed that medium would be fine, and was happy after biting into it that it was cooked at a perfect medium.

All in all, I kind of like this place, but maybe feel it is priced a few bucks too high? Compared to some burger shops that are within a few blocks this place, I'm not sure if I have a huge urge to come back. The burger was pretty good, but with the price I might be drawn to other places where the burger is...

Burgers and Barley is an absolute gem of a restaurant that never fails to impress! I have frequented this establishment numerous times, and each visit leaves me more satisfied than the last. A must-visit spot for burger enthusiasts, this place excels at delivering an unforgettable dining experience. One of the many highlights of Burgers and Barley is the sheer delight of introducing new friends to their delectable offerings. Witnessing the awe on their faces as they take their first bite of the incredible burgers and perfectly seasoned potato chips or fries is a joy every time. The quality and flavor of the food at this establishment truly set it apart from the rest. What truly sets Burgers and Barley apart for me is their attention to detail, particularly when it comes to cooking the burgers. The option to have your burger cooked a bit under to ensure maximum juiciness is a game-changer. Each bite is a burst of flavor, and the juiciness of the burger is unmatched. It's this level of care and customization that keeps me coming back for more. In conclusion, Burgers and Barley is a culinary paradise for burger lovers. From the inviting ambiance to the exceptional food and top-notch service, this restaurant exceeds expectations on all fronts. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, you're sure to be blown away by the amazing dining experience that Burgers and Barley has to offer.
