This bar is the most unwelcoming and unprofessional bar ever. As soon as I entered the bar and asked for food menus, all of the patrons were staring at my group and I. Never seen people of color I guess. Three different staff asked for our ID’s, and their scanners did not work. Does no one in this bar know how to read out of state ID’s? I even gave them my credit card for a tab, so I really don’t know how incompetent the staff is to not know they can check credit cards against IDs. What kind of place asks for a credit card for a tab and then comes back and makes a big deal out of ID’s? That’s something you should have done before taking my credit card. Clearly if they had done their jobs then none of this would have happened. I am extremely disappointed with how the staff reacted and treated us. I will never be coming here again. I asked the 2nd staff who came to ya why she was asking us for our ID’s and she said “we do it for people who look questionable.” Learn how to treat your guests and properly learn how to read ID’s Whiskey River. I took my business somewhere else on Main Street, to a bar that actually knows how to read ID’s. Good riddance...
Read moreI have had two terrible experiences at this location. The first time I ordered 20 Buffalo Wings. When they came out they were tossed in BBQ and Buffalo. I told the waitress who told the manager. The manager's response was that the customer before me must have ordered BBQ and it happens. No discount, no remake, and no apology. I don't like BBQ and didn't get to eat any of the 20 wings I paid for. Today I ordered take out including chili. When I arrived the manager who was the only server at the time made eye contact with me and then continued organizing caddies until another customer came in and she served him, helped a table, and then went to the computer and printed my tab. She handed it to me without speaking to me, went to the kitchen and grabbed my food, gave it to me, and took my money. There was never a greeting or asking if there's anything else. After leaving and opening up my food, I realize there's no napkins, and no spoon or crackers for the chili. So I couldn't eat it. I don't know if this manager has it out for me or if she is just terrible at her job, but I am incredibly disappointed with her customer...
Read moreThe restaurant was not busy. Maybe three different people at the bar and one table. We had called in wings for to go and they told us 15-20 minutes. After 20 minutes we showed up to get our order and they hadn’t even started it but didn’t want to inform us that and said “we’re still working on your order.” Ten minutes of waiting and still no wings, we asked the cook in the kitchen and he said they were just getting started (40 minutes after we called). We left and came back 20 min later to get our food and talked to “management” about our issue. No sorry, or trying to make it right, just excuses. “We had three tickets ahead of you. He’s new. Our whole kitchen staff quit last week.” I’m not surprised the whole kitchen staff quit. This business is a joke. Oh..:. FYI.
