Geo's Roast Beef & Pizzeria — Restaurant in Amesbury

Very disappointed, have been a customer here since moving to Amesbury this past summer. I called in an order and asked the woman on the phone to toast my roast beef sandwich. She claims she was the "manger" she wouldn't give me her name and started arguing with me about the fact that the sandwiches never go out not toasted. I told her I only asked because the last time my sandwich wasn't toasted and I just wanted to make sure it was. Instead of apologizing I was basically called a liar and told that the buns are always toasted The sandwiches are all made the same and never go out untoasted all being said with a to me In a very rude tone. I'm so sick of places that don't know how to treat their customers, so I will never eat here again! Can't believe the disrespect and am absolutely not going to be treated like I'm a liar by any business that I support!...

So I have been meaning to-write a review about this place for sometime now, so ill get extra descriptive. First of all the family that owner, manages and works the shop are freaking fantastic as are their staff. We have been in town for a long and I have always heard really good things about this place but i was seemingly loyal ti a competing shop all these years. We we decided to give the spot a try and they quickly became our favorite. The food is consistently fantastic, always done perfectly just like the times before. Doesn't matter if you go into the shop or have it delivered, you are greeted by friendly thorough staff.

This place has been in the same spot for a very long time with a consistently great local rating here with Amesbury folks. I highly recommend.

Edit, just cant go wrong...

2 Soggy Extremely greasy pizzas. (Dripping) Pizza was burnt on top. And soggy everywhere else. (Large cheese pizzas hardly the easy snack we thought we were ordering). Would have made less mess making our own pies.

Buffalo fingers were okay. Clearly from frozen but put together alright. However made a second call as I ordered, two calls, just to double check that they wouldn’t forget the sauce this time and they did it again.

Italian sub was acceptable.

Delivery driver seemed angry and not that ready for work. No masks. No gloves.

Overall it was pretty big loss on the $50.00 after tip. All these places in Amesbury used to be so good. We are running out of affordable options that put any pride into their...
