I recently had the pleasure of dining at Athena’s Pizza in Amherst, and I must say it was an absolute delight. The pizza I had was hands down the most delicious pizza I've had in a long time. Every bite was a burst of flavor and the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. The crust was perfectly crispy, and the combination of toppings was simply mouthwatering.

Aside from the incredible taste, the service was top-notch. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and made sure that I had a wonderful dining experience. The atmosphere of the place was cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal with friends or family.

10 Stars for Athena’s Pizza on University Drive, Amherst, Massachusetts! We have two family members with Gluten and wheat allergies, and we order their gluten-free pizzas of any flavor, and they’re wonderful, and we never get sick! The owner and his family are very careful, and they will change their gloves when you ask them, and make your food away from where the wheat and gluten flour pizzas are made. The chef salads have the most wonderful fresh, clean romaine lettuce, and other vegetables, and the deli meats are always fresh and wonderful! The menu is marked gluten free for lots of their pizza flavors! How wonderful to have a pizza restaurant in Amherst, where we can go as a family and enjoy their delicious, gluten free food items. I’m 46 I have been going to this pizza place since I was 28. I’ve never had a negative review for the place but today! I went with my husband and I’m not the smallest person but I’m also pregnant! Two of the young ladies taking orders were speaking in Spanish and I am very white so I don’t believe they thought I could understand. Both young ladies were making fun of the fact I’m heavier. They were back and forth saying they didn’t want to bring the pizza bcz I might lose a hand! I am not 300 pounds and even if I was that’s not right! I originally don’t eat out but every once and a while I do. I left the place in tears. My body is changing bcz I’m pregnant so I already am having body issues as it is but this made it worse.
