Ok, so I was really hyped about this place . On their website they advertise "AUTHENTIC" mexican cousine. Here's my opinion. It is not mexican food. It looks mexican and you can argue it tastes good. But is Not authentic at all. That's where the 1 star food review comes from. I ordered guac and chips, they did not have chips. I ordered queso fundido but it was hard by the time it came to us, they brought chips with this one but they were not corn chips and they were oily. I ordered birria tacos, they were salty and they did not come with birria consome. I ordered al pastor they were good but did not taste al pastor. The tortillas were straight up white corn commercial Tortillas, not home made, if you wanted an extra Tortilla it was almost 2 dollars for a single Tortillas that was not even home made. They only had 1 waiter for the whole restaurant, he was overworked and couldn't keep up with customers. The drinks were inconsistent in flavor. I ordered around 730 my food came around 9 i felt rushed because the close the kitchen at 930 for salsa night. It was overall not a great experience. The waiter did a good job with what he could. This is an honest review. Food is fine but please don't...

Very poor quality food, service was terrible. I went there with a few friends and after we were sat (mind you there was at least 4 servers there and there was only tables including us in the restaurant) it took them 20 minutes for our server to come greet us and take our drink orders and bring us menus. Once our food arrived at the table they had gotten it all wrong which I understand ppl make mistakes but to get every single item wrong is a little ridiculous. Then the manager (tall heavy set male) came over to ask us how everything was going and we explained the problem of not even having our drink orders taken for 20 minutes which he responded “well maybe if you were waiting that long you should have gotten up and said something to a server” when that is not our responsibility and frankly I would feel rude doing something like that. He then personally went and got us our bill and he charged us for the complete wrong order and argued with us when we told him that he must have had the wrong slip. Very disappointed because it seemed like a nice family owned spot to eat and I will unfortunately not...

Well what can I say I ran across an ad on Facebook and said to my friend let's try it. When we came in to the restaurant they were very welcoming very informative and answered all my questions and concerns that I had having allergies. We started with the fry quesadilla with pork and let me tell you it was delicious once you bite into that pork and that melty cheese inside it's just heavenly. We continue to order a lunch special which included five tacos of your choice rice and beans and let me tell you that I was not disappointed I think my favorite one was cochinita pibil. Those pickled onions were delish. we also had street elote and that was fantastic we had a margarita made with Mezcal. It had a smoky flavor to it but it complemented the rest something that I do recommend. and we finish our day with churros that came with caramel and chocolate sauce. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food I definitely recommend. Also they have live music and...

Great tacos and amazing cocktails. Their selection of rare mezcals and tequilas is off the hook. We were in town dropping our daughter off at camp and were in the mood for Mexican. After surveying the options we chose Mexcalito as it sounded authentic. We love Mexican food and beverages, and know tequila and mezcal drinks pretty well from travel and frequenting some of the better Mexican restaurants in New York and Boston. All I can say is that this place is completely legit and up there in terms of the quality of the food and drinks. Antonio the owner is from Guadalajara Jalisco the birthplace of tequila. Antonio made us several cocktails off the menu including a mezcal hibiscus concoction that was sublime. The tacos were varied and unique with soft corn homemade tortillas. And the price was reasonable for the meal we had.
