I really love a well crafted cocktail, and I particularly love the "hidden" bars. This is both. It is a marvelous surprise. Once we finally found the door, we sat at the bar. We were there early, so we got a prime sear right by the cocktail mixing station. They have a great list of their own cocktails as well as riffs on classics. They said they can make just about any cocktail, and I believe it. I ordered their riff on a martini, which used gin, vodka, lemon oil, and contratto Bianco vermouth. My colleague ordered a milk punch drink made with old tom gin, green and yellow chartreuse, pear liquor, chamomile, peppermint, and lemongrass. It was perfectly clear, and perfectly delicious!! In addition to the bar, there are small tables, little alcoves, and all sorts of funky seating areas. The bartenders are knowledgeable, the atmosphere serene, and cocktails are absolutely first-rate! I give this hidden bar my highest recommendation!

I showed some friends this place tonight and the service was so lovely <3 I’m usually happy with a 2$ PBR but I was really craving a chocolately type of dessert drink tonight. I told the bartender about this craving that I was trying to honor and he gave me a really yummy but not too sweet chocolate espresso martini. Then when I was done he checked in to ask if it hit the spot- and offered me the only trader joe’s peanut butter cup they had on site 😭 how could I say no! and he even put it in a little ramekin. love this spot, what a treasure.

This speakeasy bar is great. Not only is it hidden, but making your friends find the door in the cold outside is hilarious and heartwarming while you listen to the curse and wonder aloud if they have the wrong address. Inside this escape from reality, they serve an arsenal of cocktails and even have pretty rare Japanese whiskeys ranging from an elusive Hakushu of 18 years to a mundane Hibiki Harmony. The tables, decor and lounges within are meticulously set up with a plant and fossil theme. I will definitely be back!

Alright, first off the drinks are spectacular. Brought my mother in law and she said the Queen of Sheba was the best drink she'd ever had. Secondly, the atmosphere is excellent. Always great music, calm vibes, beautiful art. But most importantly, this bar has the finest bathroom of any institution in the Pioneer Valley. I care a lot about bathrooms at restaurants and bars. I think it reflects the level of care and consideration the owners have for little details and people's comfort. It's all about the decor, lighting, towel options, and biggest one is soap. Archives scores 10/10 in every category. Lovely art displays to view while pooping, best smelling soap of my life, and holy crap they have the best paper towels money can buy. I look forward to taking a piss in there every time I go. I've raved about it to all of my friends. Best bathroom. Thank...

You want to go to a great speak easy in Amherst? Look no further, this place has great drinks and they're not the run of the mill garbage you drink at a local bar. They carry only the finest bottles! They serve many types of martinis and special house drinks that will knock your socks off. There's one catch.... you have to find it. There's a few clues to find this place. Don't ask anyone exactly where it is, it'll take the fun out of it. We found it in 20 minutes after figuring out how to..... I said too much.... this is a speak easy like the prohibition times, you'll find the secret...
