They changed their grilled cheese sandwiches! We used to love getting grilled cheese sandwiches at Reed‘s when we would take our kids out for ice cream. They were made out of a thick, soft homemade-seeming bread and heavily buttered with a sweet butter (almost like honey butter) that would create a delightful crispness when grilled—they were sweet, soft, melty wonders.

Yesterday, we took the whole family out for lunch and order ice cream and grilled cheese sandwiches and were dismayed to discover they have changed. These sandwiches were made with thin, blah bread (think Rainbow bread) and it was as if they were smashed with a spatula on the grill to speed up cooking, so you get served up a pathetic, thin sandwich on flavorless bread (no sweetness to it at all)—it was on par with gas station food. Even our kids noticed the difference. You had it nailed before—go back to the quality...

Hands down the best ice cream in Idaho Falls. They make all their product from scratch. And I mean straight from the cow. They actually have a location on the westside of Idaho falls on Broadway that has the dairy right behind it. Everything tastes amazing. I've tried over a dozen flavors and they are all my favorites. They offer cones and bowls. Shakes are amazing. Brown cows are delicious. Those consist of ice cream in a cup with chocolate milk poured over it. It's not blended like a shake though. They even make grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup. Absolutely amazing. I recommend going and trying as many flavors as possible. Come hungry to buy a grilled cheese as well. And on the way out purchase a gallon of milk and some cheese curds...

Kids were in there running the place and doing a poor job of it. They couldn't answer a question about the cooler bag and I only got an answer from someone walking by because they heard me ask. I went to buy some milk products but the butter was priced higher in the register than on the shelf. The guy was rude and would not sell it for the price that was listed nor did he even apologize! Of course I did not buy it and they put it back.

Whoever owns this store needs to train the people that are representing your farm name. It looks bad right now and I almost canceled the entire sale instead of just the butter.

Customer service really matters and I was very happy with the ice cream and my experience...
