Review from a picky eater: I tried Daeji Bulgogi for the first time and it was delicious! Service was quick and polite. Food had a great texture, temperature, and taste. The flavors were good by themselves, but they were 100 times better when mixed together. Definitely check it out... or don't so I can have more good food to myself!😋
Breakdown Review: Service: polite, quick, provide utensils (fork or chopsticks), and have a good variety of different dishes to try. Price- Worth it! Comparable to other places in town. Portion- Good portion! I felt full after eating half of my plate. Food Presentation- Clean and neat Food Temperature- Stayed warm on my 10 min drive home. Smell- pleasant, slightly familiar Beware: the smell lingers for quite some time but it's nothing good ventilation can't fix. Meat- perfect chewy texture, not fatty, perfectly cooked Sauce- a little spicy and a little sweet ( not too much, doesn't seem americanized) Rice- white, plain, and a little sticky Radish- sweeter than the sauce, perfect crunch Kimchi: slightly sour, but not overpowering Authentic?- Owned by local owners. Food doesn't taste americanized. Seems pretty authentic to me. Recommend?- Of course! I've been telling everyone I know to try it out.
Thank you for the delicious food! I'll definitely come back to try some of your other...
Read moreI was looking forward to finally having a Korean restaurant come to town. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy Cupbop, but it’s not exactly what I would call a Korean restaurant. I have been to this place twice now. The first time I asked the lady at the counter what she recommended and I picked exactly what she said. I would encourage you to get the same thing/do the same thing. The employees know their stuff. I’d say to get the daeji bulgogi with kimchi and japchae noodles. The daeji bulgogi is spicy pork on rice. It’s very delicious. The kimchi has a bit of spice to it. The japchae noodles is glass noodles and is good too. I wish it had a little bit more flavor to it. I also got the banh mi, which is a Vietnamese sandwich, this one had the daeji bulgogi and vegetables. It usually comes with Jalapeño slices, but I think you could ask for them to be not included if you don’t want it to be too spicy. I also enjoyed the beef bulgogi, it’s very good too. I hope this place eventually broadens the menu to include more Korean dishes, sides, or even desserts. I recommend The...

Interestingly enough, all of my favorite food spots in Idaho Falls happen to be food trucks. The Porky Korean is no different. Pro tip: follow them on Facebook for weekend special items :) This weekend was tteokbokki.
Everything I tried had great flavor.
The Galbi plate looked small but it was ridiculously filling, I actually turned it into two separate meals. The galbi was marinated perfectly. I do, however, wish the kim chee was a little more spicy.
The mandu was good as well. I liked that they were filled with sweet potato noodles. I requested the spicy house sauce on the side (you can choose spicy or mild) & I'm glad I did. I actually liked the mandu without the extra sauce.
The kim chee fried rice was delicious. We ended up adding our own fried egg to it.
Overall, I highly recommend. Especially because the Korean options in this town are...
