I was waiting for this plug this is Thomas Edward and unfortunately I experienced something this evening that I have not experienced since the 70s not like it was tonight nothing was said there was no one actually trying to put anybody out of place but at the same time as I entered the establishment the young lady taking orders from the drive-through continue to do so she never wants to turn around and notice me standing there there's a gentleman watching I believe he was like a referee or traveling manager he never said a word I would say two to three minutes later and young man enters from the back room takes my order and I step back after paying for my order . Then four more people came in took their orders and I believe two more people came in they took their orders in the meantime at least three to four cars that pass through the drive-through already before it came in behind me got their order seated and started eating the two that came in behind them receive their orders as well never mind you that's all I ordered was a famous star with cheese that's the kicker , I noticed maybe 2 or 3 more . Cars. I walked outside to keep my composure . I did hear the young man reorder my burger which let me know that I was standing here for nothing you took my money didn't place my order and then turn their backs on me so I walked outside couple minutes later I got my order everything that happened it's very clean establishment I'm not holding anybody personally responsible but it was like a flashback period from when I first came to...
Read moreIt started with the order-taker/cashier. I gave her my order - combo number, burger weight, side/drink size and a side order (to go) - which she repeated back to me to confirm. How could 2 separate customer orders have the same order number? (Strike 1) My "corrected" order still had the wrong burger. (Strike 2) The third try finally got it right, but my side orders had cooled during the extra wait time. (In the fast food service industry that's a no-no, so... Strike 3) The problem was the wrong burger was entered for the order. That screwed up the entire crew and also affected another customer with a similar order. The manager had no choice but to take a loss due to an undercharge by the employee. I know this type of incident happens everyday, but corporate executives frown upon this quality of service (and even more so for overcharges). The observation was the person who took the order had screwed it up and didn't step up and take responsibility for the error or help to correct it. Consequently, the crew suffered for it. It looks like the manager needs to do a more thorough job of training crew members to ensure these types of incidences aren't repeated. I won't be coming back here anytime soon... (at least during the...
Read moreWent to this Carl's last week, they decided to park me. They bring me a melted, watery shake and the wrong order. I told the person who I had to almost yell to get her to come back to take the order back and the shake. I decided to go inside and wait to make sure I received the correct order. There was another customer yelling at the counter since he was waiting too long for his order. Today I went again through drive thru, first the cashier tells me to park and wait, a minute later she passes me the order, I asked for ranch dressing and she tells me its in the bag, I open the bag and there is no ranch. What was worse is when I got home and the fried zuccini breading was falling off and soggy to the point where I threw it in the trash, and the bag had oil around the bottom. I have been to other Carl's in the area and I know what the zuccini looks like cooked properly. They just tossed this uncooked item in the bag and gave it to me. I was so discusted I called to speak to the manager. This is not acceptable, and this certain Carl's obviously cares nothing about their customers or quality. They are more worried about time...
