I was jonesing for a Starbucks coffee and ended up with a delightful new experience, including my dream bagel. I don't have to tell you how aggravating it is at that particular Starbucks location being closed to mobile orders and the cafe being closed but to my delight just around the corner of the parking lot was LilyPopp. I have been hearing great things about their bagels and decided let's try it out today. I got a jalapeno bagel with regular cream cheese and it was DELICIOUS. The jalapeno was not like I would usually get. It's actually a very subtle hint of jalapeno. What really stood out to me is the fact that it was NOT TOO CRISPY on the outside and SUPER SOFT the inside as if it had just been made. I feel so often of the time that when you toast a bagel it dries it out too much so I don't like a really toasted bagel. This was perfectly prepared for my taste. The cream cheese was slightly melting and oozing out the sides. 15 MINUTES LATER....second half of the bagel was great still. Though not really warm, still kept that soft inside and crisp outside texture. Didn't taste dry at all and cream cheese was not starting to dry up. What a TREAT. Definitely...
Read moreI appreciate that the shop offers a vegan cream cheese option, but I was surprised to find that none of the bagels are actually vegan. This seems like a missed opportunity, especially for customers seeking plant-based or dairy-free options. Offering a vegan spread without a compatible item to pair it with limits its usefulness—after all, it's unlikely that anyone would eat cream cheese by the spoonful for breakfast. It would make more sense to either add a vegan bagel or pastry to the menu, or reconsider the inclusion of vegan cream cheese if there are no suitable options to accompany it.

I was there this morning and the person working the register informed me that none of the bagels or pastries are vegan as they all contain milk powder. I asked her if she was sure because typically at least plain bagels are vegan. She confirmed with someone in the back, who also came up to inform me that there were no vegan bagel options. If your response is correct, there is misinformation being...
Read moreI was in the area one very early morning and was looking for something to eat for breakfast. I thought about going to Starbucks until I saw this location on Google maps. So I gave it a try.
Let me tell you something, hands down one of the best bagel breakfast sandwich(?) I’ve had. Last time I had one this good was maybe 10 years ago when I got one out by Crystal Cove.
The guy running the shop that day recommend their most popular bagel and iced coffee so I went for those. The taste and flavor was really good. Somehow, someway, I never thought of using lemon pepper over regular pepper on egg. It just went so well.
Regarding the iced coffee, I did find it on the sweeter end but they do have a stronger version of the drink I got with twice the espresso shots.
For those wondering, I got the Canton Special and the Vanilly Coffee (I think those are the names).
I would definitely come back for either breakfast or their lunch items if I’m ever...
