Unprofessional and Rude Supervisor Experience
Review:
I recently had an encounter at a local drive-thru that left me utterly disappointed with the customer service, particularly due to the behavior of the supervisor on duty. Here's what happened:
The Incident: I asked for a cup of water at the drive-thru window, a common request one might think. However, the supervisor's response was not only unexpected but also uncalled for. With a tone dripping with sarcasm, they remarked, "I'm lucky," as if to imply inconvenience, just because the person behind me decided to order a drink at the last moment.
Customer Service Fail: This incident highlights a significant lapse in customer service training. The supervisor's comment was not only disrespectful but also suggested a lack of understanding or empathy towards basic customer needs. Water, especially in a drive-thru setting, is often requested for various reasons, including health or simply because one might not have had the chance to order earlier due to the nature of drive-thru transactions.
Impact on Customer Experience: Such interactions can sour one's day from the get-go. It's not just about the water; it's about feeling valued as a customer. The supervisor's attitude made me feel unwelcome and belittled for a simple request.
Advice to Potential Customers: If you're considering visiting this location, be prepared for potentially starting your day on the wrong foot if you encounter this supervisor. Their behavior suggests a need for either better training in customer interaction or perhaps a reminder of the principles of hospitality and service.
Conclusion: This experience has made me wary of returning to this location. Customer service isn't just about fulfilling orders; it's about how you make customers feel during their visit. Here, the supervisor missed the mark entirely, turning what should have been a routine stop into a memorable but for all the wrong reasons.
If you're looking for a place where your requests are met with respect and professionalism, you might want to steer clear of this location until there's a noticeable change in...
Read moreI had been to this McDonalds a few times through the drive-thru and I had never had an issue, pretty standard wait and the service was fine. I had gone in the dining area cause I did not want to get in the drive thru for them to tell my the ice cream machine is broken and have to wait to get out. I am a pretty patient person especially with fast food because I get it. But when I saw I had been waiting for 20 min for what I ordered I was like what’s going on so I went toward the counter and saw others waiting there too. I ordered three chocolate chip cookies and an ice cream cone. I waited 40 min until I finally got to ask someone about my order and they said oh it’s gonna be a few minutes for the cookies. I was flabbergasted. I wanted a refund at that point for the cookies but wanted the cone cause a cone doesn’t take 10 minutes to make. So a different guy comes to give me a refund and I let him know that I would still like my cone and he walks away after refunding me the cookies. Again, flabbergasted, the machine was right there, the man did not give a — . I waited an additional 20 min for this dang ice cream cone. A whole hour. For an ice cream cone. That’s on me I guess. The customer service is nonexistent. No one is up at the front like ever, and they ignore you when you try to get their attention. Some girl was on her phone walking around and with her hands in her pockets at other times. There was so many people in the dining area waiting to get helped it was ridiculous. The guy that gave me the refund removed his glove to touch the screen and then started touching his bandaid and put the same glove right back on. Gross but whatever. The restrooms are also gross, they don’t have seat covers. The tables are dirty. This place needs better managers or a whole retraining in service and efficiency cause the manager on duty was nowhere to be seen and there was no sense to even help anyone in the dining area. They had really annoying instrumental meditation like music playing. Good luck if you choose...
Read moreReally horrible experience, i realized i got the wrong sandwich when I got home, i called the store and the manager asked how they can help me , she never gave a name and this was on 03/17/2022 around 2:47 pm when i called, i told her they made a mistake and gave me someone elses sandwich, she then responded by saying that i need a receipt and then she hung up while i was trying to find my receipt. I had to call again and repeat my situation, my concern was that some one else got my sandwich and there probably mad like me at this moment, i left the drive thru which is 4 minutes from my house , so i asked her to kindly print my receipt to see if maybe the order taker made a mistake, but she refused to help and told me she was not going pull up a receipt from less then 4 min ago because there short staffed, i just came home from a long 12 hour shift so i told her i didn't want to return today, so she said she'll accept a 4 week old chicken made sandwich they mistakenly gave me if i didn't have the receipt , the sandwich had a printed paper with a number on it , she refused to acknowledge the number to at least give me peace of mind of where the mistake was made. Now im heading back tired as can be just to replace this sandwich, which by the way might take 20 minutes alone in the drive thru just for one replacement of a sandwich thanks alot McDonalds . 04/23/24 Recieved a uber order and did not receive my sauce for like the 5th time in a row.I called the store manager nioklas who said he couldnt help and that he just arrived to shift and was clueless of what was going on. he refuse to pass down the information that his team forgot to put sauce again for an uber order i made.
