I want to be honest in my review and start by saying I have double the special interest in this review. What I mean by this is the owner of Britton's BBQ is my brother in law and the baker of the corn bread, rolls, and desserts is my sister Amy.
I have been eating Bobby's BBQ and food for years. To say I am proud of him to finally be up and running is an understatement. We ate at the resturant the 1st week it was open and it was a little rough, but that was expected, still working out the kinks. Each eating after has been even better.
One thing I personally love is that he thinly slices his tri-tip. Now this may not be for everyone, but for me it leaves may options as to how I want to eat it cause I can never eat it in one sitting. His pulled pork is a go to for a fast family dinner.
His potatoe salad is one of my favorite things ever. My family's favorite is the Mac n Cheese. His BBQ sauce is good a little on the sweeter side.
Now, for the corn bread, rolls, and sweet stuff. All of these things are provided by Amy Burke. She reads the reviews and appreciates your feedback. She also tries to adjust her recipes based on feedback given.
I love the cake like texture of her cornbread, it's not overly sweet, but sweet enough to hit that perfect spot. Her rolls are good, but better if you warm them slightly with butter. And who doesn't love a sweet dessert.
If ever you are interested in seeing her other items please look her up on Facebook under Amy Ann Burke! She does it all.

Read moreAn honest review. We love to support local businesses and wanted to try out this new local bbq location. They have done an excellent job on the interior of the building, it’s welcoming and well lit with plenty of space and seating. Ordering was simple enough however they were out of our first two selections, but it was Friday evening before closing and of course they are still adjusting to supply and demand which I’m sure is tricky in the bbq business. We ordered the four rib option and the 1/2 lb. tri-tip. Here’s when we noticed some issues, the portions were extremely small and not as advertised on the menu. We received a little over half the advertised amount of tri-tip and the ribs were really small. Match this with a piece of cornbread and two small sides and it wasn’t close to feeding two people. Food quality was average, not a lot of bbq flavor which of course is going to vary with each customers taste. The tri-tip was thinly sliced which is nice but not very tender. We received one bbq sauce container for two meals which wasn’t enough. The side potato salad was excellent but the slaw was very bland. Overall we’ve had much better bbq with larger portions elsewhere for the same price, but take into consideration they have been open for a short time and are learning, this feedback is to help them...
Read moree meay platter. The Hot link was very filling and had a good amount of kick. Ribs were good and had nice flavorful sauce on Them. The Tri tip tasted good, but as you can see they were super thin slices and I bet they'd go better on a sandwich. I was thinking it would be more along the lines of a brisket cut (like the thickness etc.) Mac and cheese was really good. Baked bean were what you'd expect from baked beans (standard). They were out of corn bread, but I bet it is super good. My wife had a pulled pork sandwich and it was bomb. The hours are wrong though for tbr business, they were open till 8 tonight and google said 5 pm (so does their to go menu) so I'm guessing it's changed since they opened.... 🤷🏻 Staff were all super friendly. As we were leaving someone ordered the prime rib.... And I will 100 percent be going back for it.... It looked awesome. Sides were all the smaller side, but I was full after my meal so I didn't need a bigger side. If you're sharing a meal, probably wanna upgrade the size of your side. We didn't order any but they had some cobbler and root bear floats as dessert and they...
