This is a good spot to get takeout street tacos. I ordered a chicken and chorizo which were among the best I've ever had. In particular there was a slight crispness to the double corn tortilla that was fantastic and heartier than normal masa. There is an attached grocery so I picked out 3 yams and 2 avocados. They wanted $9.33 so I put them back. The price was at least double the price of Aldi. Most of the produce looked old and faded. I'm sure they can't do the volume to keep stock turned and prices down, The atmosphere is dark and dingy. Not particularly inviting to dine-in unless you want that hole-in-the-wall vibe. I would definitely go back, but next time for takeout and not table dining. The tacos were fantastic! The bill for 3 street tacos and a bottled water was $10 plus tip.

We visit this place often, it's a small mexican restaurant inside a butcher/ grocery store.. the dinning area it's small but cozy and clean, probably 10 tables? Weekends it'super crowded, suggest to call in and order carryout. the food we'd tried so far has been fantastic.. prices are reasonable, the Barbacoa wet tacos (some call it "quesabirria") are my fave! The red tamales, street tacos, lamb soup, sopes, street corn, are all fantastic.. only downside, We wish they didn't play the music so loud 😕 took 1 star because of the super loud music, otherwise, 10 out of 10!!

Did not have burrito shells in stock and lacks flavor. Beer bottles line the wall to the entrance. Chips were hard and over salted. Taste just like I cooked Mexican at my house which is not what I want when I go out to eat Mexican food! The queso taste like the kind you get at Walmart. I guess if you want texmex DONT go here! It’s also a grocery store. Drinks are in a bottle or can.

This is my favorite taco joint and I wish I lived closer so I could enjoy it more! They serve authentic Mexican food - much more than just tacos - here. It's your typical grocery store that also serves food. You walk in, grab your drink of choice (they do have beer) out of the refrigerator, sit, and wait for your server. The menu has pictures so is very accessible if you don't speak Spanish. Every time I've been there, the servers I've had have also been very helpful in answering my questions about the menu items. They do serve chips and salsa with your meal though you may have to ask for it.

If you like authentic Mexican food and aren't hung up on the ambiance (it's a working store, grab a giant can of black beans while you're there or a tortilla press), you're...

Love, love, love this place. The staff is very, very friendly, courteous and pleasant. The cook is AH-MAY-ZING!!!! I had Mexican corn and a steak quesadilla. Best I have ever had!!! The place is kind of a mixture of a grocery store and diner. That is why I gave only 3 stars for the atmosphere. They could really make some money if they separated the grocery business and the diner. Having it all cramped up in one small place doesn't look the greatest,. However the food makes up for what the atmosphere lacks. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. 10...
