Small but mighty! Doesn't look like much on the outside, and at first we weren't sure if they were open, but luckily we saw some other people going in and decided to give it a try. We ordered a couple of combos so we could try multiple things, and everything was delicious! My favorite was the rib tips. My friend informed me that the quarter chicken was perfect - crispy on the outside, moist and tender on the inside. She did not want to trade bites. There are multiple signs up saying the sauce goes on all meats, so maybe not everyone expects it or feels the same way I do, but I like my BBQ saucy and was happy with the amount used. Messy food is the best food! I like vinegar on greens and missed that, but the spicy mac and fried okra were pretty great. The sides come in small containers, but you get plenty, and the meat portions are quite generous. I had leftovers for dinner. Yes, there was a bit of a wait, but again, it's a small place. If you want fast food, go to McDonald's and get your perfectly average burger from their soullessly efficient assembly line. If you want good BBQ, you wait patiently until the pit master tells you it's ready. I have been looking for beef brisket locally, and not many places serve it. I can tell you the pit barbecues. The Fresca is hands-down, some of the most tender and juicy brisket. I’ve had in a very long time. The price is super reasonable as well. I ordered beef brisket, baked beans, greens, potato salad, and their peach cobbler. The greens were really good but I was a little bit surprised that they were sweet and not savory. The big beans were pretty good as well. The potato salad had really good flavor as well. I feel like I got a super big portion. I tried to call my order in, but it said their voicemail box was full. I decided to go straight to the restaurant to order instead of ordering off of DoorDash. Some more of the money would stay within the business. There were a couple delivery drivers they were picking up while I was waiting on my order to be prepared. We ordered our food on doordash, a little after 8 PM. The order went through and we waited. We got a call a few minutes later from the manager, telling us that we cannot order past 8 but they would make our food anyway. When the food got to our house an hour after purchase, it was just not good. Pretty much everything is extremely sweet or has a weird tang. We ordered mac n cheese, pulled pork, brisket, sweet tea, lemonade, and potato salad. The meat tasted fine but the sauce was too sweet for me personally. Sweet tea and lemonade were just too sweet also. The sweet tea had that weird tang. The mac n cheese was okay, if not a bit watery.

DO NOT get the potato salad if you like potato salad. It ruins it. The potato salad tastes sweet? For some reason? And has an unbearably earthy taste that is not in any other potato salad I've ever had (as a potato salad truther). Half the reason I made this review is because of this potato salad.
